Colorado Public Lands Day: Erosion Rock Structures @ Rio Grande Natural Area

Saturday, May. 16, 2020
at 8 am — 4 pm

Celebrate Colorado Public Lands Day by improving river health and expanding your rock structure skills! Open to volunteers ages 14+, you’ll learn how to build rock dams and walls called “Zeedyk” structures from hydrology and erosion master Mr. Bill Zeedyk. No experience is required, and this is a great project for volunteers who will enjoy learning more about ecological restoration and spending their day entirely on rock structures. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided on Saturday.
