How do I post an event?

The Events tool is where you can post your organization’s upcoming events.

Dashboard Events

This is the events page within your dashboard.

  1. Pending events will appear up top

  2. Current or active events appear below

  3. Post new events from here or on dashboard home



Public Event Card

Events will appear as cards across the site. These cards contain an overview of your event.


Public Event Detail

This is an event detail page.

  1. All of your event’s information appears on the left.

  2. Information about your organization appears on the right.

  • This is a great way to get the word out to local customers.
  • Once approved, you will receive a confirmation email and see the event on Patagonia Action Works.
  • Keep in mind that if you change event information on Facebook or any other event hosting site, edits won’t automatically appear on Patagonia Action Works. You can cancel your event, or edit start time, end time, or location from the events tab of your dashboard. If you need to change other details you can email actionworks@patagonia.com.
