Captain Sarah Gardner has fished since she could walk and has been fly fishing for over 25 years. 2015 marks her 18th season as a full-time charter boat captain; her office is a 23-foot center-console boat named Fly Girl, from which she can comfortably fish the rough Atlantic Ocean or shallow sounds around the Outer Banks of North Carolina. “My long-term professional goals are to continue to write, photograph, film, teach and guide, until I can’t walk or see anymore.”
