Camp for the Forest

Camp for the Forest is an informal grassroots initiative that was born in May 2017 as a reaction to the devastation of Białowieża Forest. Activists have organized over 20 blockades of heavy-duty machines used for logging and removing wood from the forest. Many solidarity events have been organized in cities in Poland and elsewhere, to educate and show support for the struggle.
