Jeremy Cherson

Jeremy Cherson is the Campaigns Advocacy Coordinator for Riverkeeper, a non-profit group working to protect the Hudson River and its tributaries, and safeguard the drinking water of nine million New York City and Hudson Valley residents. He earned his MS in Environmental Policy at the Bard Center for Environmental Policy and first engaged in environmental issues in Washington, D.C., organizing support for the Waxman-Markey climate bill for Environment America in 2007. He has since been an AmeriCorps member in central California, monitored conservation easements in Alabama and Georgia, and served as assistant camp director at an urban environmental summer camp in Atlanta.
