Water Resistant

DWR
(durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

Traceable Down Insulation

Patagonia Traceable Down provides the highest assurance of animal welfare in the apparel industry. Every down cluster, in every one of our down products, comes exclusively from birds that were never force-fed and never live-plucked. How do we know? We hired an independent third-party expert to trace and verify our down supply chain from farm to jacket–and every step in between. Learn more

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Baby down sweater Love patagonias down sweaters but the 3-6 month size was way too wide and long! Grandson is now 6 months and jacket is still huge ! I roll up the bottom, use the long sleeves as mittens and then tuck him in the stroller with it! Nice and warm, great color, and he will eventually grow into it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super cute and warm! I love this jacket! It was perfect for the cooler days in fall. I got tons of compliments on the print. I normally find that Patagonia's baby gear runs pretty large so may want to lean towards the smaller size.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bright! Warm! Dry! Purchased for a very active 1.5 YO and ended up with a BRIGHT green because that's what was on sale. The color is fantastic - easy to keep eyes on our little explorer. It's keeping him warm, and dry in light rain. These fit BIG - he's in 18 month clothes and we purchased the 12-18 month size and we could have gone down a size. Though, now it's sure to last two seasons. Only 4 stars because this isn't as compressible as I anticipated - not a car seat friendly jacket.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bought it again I bought this last winter in size 6 months and again this year in 18 months. My daughter is 60% for height and 50% for weight... and 15% for head circumference, meaning, if the coat fits her body the hood swallows her head and she can't see. lol I am beyond grateful for an amazing coat with no hood... they are hard to find! I am thankful that I can customize head protection for her and also that I can leave this coat on in the car... there's no bulky hood behind her to compromise harness fit and also, with the way down compacts in not compromising warmth for thinness. I find it definitely runs a bit large. My daughter still fits the 6 months but just barely. The 18 months size needs the sleeves rolled once. Again, because it's so light weight, it doesn't actually seem bulky at all. The 6 months size fit her great last year and needed the sleeves rolled then as well. She is currently 16 months (just under 1.5 years). 6 months fit 5 months and is at the end of fitting now at 16 months. 18 months fits now at 16 months and should continue for the next year I surmise.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very cut prints! It is the only jacket my daughter would wear in the winter. It is warm, lightweight, and super comfortable. I recommended this down jacket to many of my friends. They all bought it for their kids and their kids love it too! Please make the same cute prints for bigger girls. My daughter will soon grow out of these cute jacket, and I am so sad that she cannot wear the cute prints anymore. Please!
