Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect weight I bought two sets of these tops and bottoms for both my kids they fit great third just the right weight without making them to warm because my kids never stop moving and running around they don't get called in them and they fit perfectly under all their winter gear

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Need this in toddler sizes! My 3 year old has long since grown out of her baby Capilene sets, but isn't big enough for the kid's sizes. She is ready for ski school this year, but there's not a single baselayer in her size! I beg you Patagonia, please make this product in toddler sizes, or at least an XXS in the kids version so that 3 and 4 year olds are not left out in the cold.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these tops We use these for everything! My son has to wear a uniform to school and he likes these under his short sleeve tops. They keep him warm in class, but not too sweaty at PE or on the playground. Sizing is generous. We wear the same size for two years. They wash and dry fabulously. These are our go-to shirts for any cool weather activity! Still look brand new after two years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, cozy and cute! After my own positive experience with Capilene 3, I wanted my daughter (8yrs, size S) to have the same satisfaction for our trip to chilly San Francisco. She loved the comfortably soft material, the color, and the warmth. Even outside on Alcatraz, she took off her fleece jacket saying the Cap 3 was warm enough on its own.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kid's Cap is long wearing and multi-functional We buy one set top and bottom each year and it is worn to death, to school, on hikes, skiing, fishing, etc. The colors are always nice enough and the styling simple enough that these pieces mix into everyday wear. My daughter is 7 and when she chooses this piece each week from her drawer on her own it's a good sign!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best out there My 6 year old has been wearing his sister's hand me downs. The quality, feel and insulating power are all awesome; new or old, there doesn't seem to be any difference. We don't trust any other brand and the kids don't like wearing any others (our oldest was our guinea pig!).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect My kids wore the Cap 3s for the first time on a camping trip and loved it. It was warm enough for the cool nights and mornings in Yosemite. I imagine it will also be a good base layer for skiing in the winter. I ended up buying my first pair on our way home.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great everyday shirt for school This may be intended as an insulating layer, but my son has been wearing the Capilene shirts as everyday shirts for school for a few years now. Just this weekend he told me the Small was too small, it looks as good as the day I bought it. It will be passed on to a nephew for another 3 years of wear.
