Never underestimate the power of a first impression. The Buckshot keeps you looking presentable whether you’re meeting the higher-ups or just stepping off the overnighter from Helena. This trusty midweight flannel shirt has a soft and durable 70% organic cotton/30% polyester blend that resists wrinkles after a tour in the duffel, provides a warm layer over a tee and dries more quickly than traditional flannel shirts. It has a shirttail hem, offset shoulder seams for slinging a messenger bag and two chest pockets with single-button flaps.

Organic Cotton

In 1996, with an increased awareness of the dangers of pesticide use and synthetic fertilizers in growing conventional cotton, we began the exclusive use of organically grown cotton in all of our cotton products.

The quality of organic cotton is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton, yet organically grown methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water. Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, for now, costs more. But it’s worth it.

To ensure we are buying cotton that is organic as defined by the USDA’s National Organic Program, we require numerous certificates issued by an accredited third-party certification body for every step of the supply chain, from farm to factories.

Men's L/S Buckshot Shirt is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 109.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best shirt that ever was... These are simply the best shirts around. Patagonia has confirmed that they've been discontinued and that's the reason I'm writing this. Please bring them back! Thank you!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just a Grade A fine shirt My favorite shirt of all time and I just lost it this weekend at a Ween show....Classic Red...no more available. I hope the next guy enjoys it as much as I did. Switching to feather gray, I guess.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my favorites! I recently purchased the Buckshot shirt in a size small. As a female, 5'7", athletic build, women's shirts have a tendency to fit snug in the shoulders and/or flare out unflatteringly at the hips. It's definitely a looser, relaxed fit, but I prefer not being restricted by my clothing so it's a perfect fit for me! I wear it for work, in the field...pretty much goes anywhere I go

Rated 2 out of 5 by from baggy Bought a size medium, I'm 6' and ~155lbs. The cut on this shirt is baggy, the sleeve length and overall length are good for someone my size. Materials and quality seemed to be good as well but unless you like your clothes loose fitting or are carrying some extra weight then I would not recommend this shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buckshot I love these long sleeve shirts from Patagonia. The fit true to size. I am 5'6", 189lbs. and I wear a medium just fine. Very comfortable shirt to wear when paired with jeans and worn to work or out and about.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Baggier fit Great shirt and very comfortable. Really like the colors available as well. Fit is tricky though. I am usually a large in button-ups (6'1" 175 ~40" chest) and this one is almost too big, but not quite. A medium would probably fit perfectly except for excessive tightness across the back if I were to cross my arms. Large fits a bit large, but not by much. Lightweight but very durable material. Awesome for birding or casual use outside, or at work.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Baggy Cut Be aware that this shirt has a very baggy cut. I'm consistently a size medium (5ft 8, 160 pounds, 40 inch chest) and a medium in this shirt is huge on me in every way. As my wife put it, it looked like I was wearing a blouse. I loved the color and the fabric seemed very durable, but it was way more of a relaxed fit than regular.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Shirt Eever Patagonia used to have a Long Sleeved "Good" Shirt and I think the Buckshot should be renamed the Long Sleeved "Best" Shirt. I live in plaid. I have the type of job that doesn't see me needing to look all business like, thank mercy. So the Buckshot has suited me for about three years now for almost every occasion to the point that I have a stable of them that are now starting to be "handed down" to my teenage nieces (which elevates the cool factor or says I am getting old) Anyway, I can agree that the older models were softer, but I find that after a few washes that the new ones work just fine. My oldest one, even after loads of tough wear in just about every type of activity, is still going strong after being freshly liberated from my closet by a clothes hoarding teenager - loads of giggles when I pointed out the affront and then the admonishment that she makes it look cool so I must have taste as well, ri-ight? This is one of the very first shirts that has fit me perfectly, so I have had zero issue owning a few of them!
