Lightweight yet burly, the Ultralight Black Hole® Duffle 30L is perfect for making your daily rounds or turning the mess you call your truck into an organized sanctuary. Made from our Ultralight Black Hole fabric—a lightweight, all-recycled nylon ripstop that’s highly packable, weather-resistant and tough, it has a zippered top opening that provides wide access so you can reach your gear quickly and easily. Sized for essentials, the small stash pocket inside the main compartment keeps your keys and gym pass handy. You can lash extra gear like a yoga pad or climbing shoes to the exterior via the micro daisy chains. Durable webbing grab handles let you carry your load like a briefcase, over the shoulder or as a backpack. When not in use, the Ultralight Black Hole Duffel 30L stuffs into its own pocket. Made from 2.4-oz 70-denier 100% recycled nylon (50% postconsumer recycled/22% solution-dyed) ripstop treated with a silicone face coating and a polyurethane back coating and lined with 3.3-oz 200-denier 100% recycled polyester with a polyurethane coating and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.

bluesign® Approved Fabric

Patagonia has worked with bluesign technologies since 2000 to evaluate and reduce resource consumption in our materials supply chain, and to assist us with managing the chemicals, dyes and finishes used in the process. bluesign technologies, based in Switzerland, works at each step in the textile supply chain to approve chemicals, processes, materials, and products that are safe for the environment, safe for workers, and safe for the end customers.

In 2007, Patagonia became the first brand to officially join the network of bluesign® system partners.

Any fabric you see that’s bluesign® approved offers the highest level of consumer safety by employing methods and materials in their manufacture that conserve resources and minimize impacts on people and the environment.

Durable Water Repellent

DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish repels light rain and snow and decreases dry times. When DWR is used in conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.
