Read More Close
For more warmth without the bulk, the nearly weightless Hi-Loft Down Hooded Vest is perfect for planes, campfire cookouts and drafty vans. And the 600-fill-power 100% Recycled Down (duck and goose down reclaimed from down products) makes this vest a more responsible choice when choosing down. The shell is made from 100% recycled polyester ripstop that’s treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish that sheds moisture. The low-profile, adjustable hood and insulated collar offer an added level of warmth without that “bundled up” feeling. Finer details include a smooth polyester mini-ripstop lining, quilted-through construction with princess seaming for an unrestrictive, feminine fit, zippered handwarmers, interior security pocket, nylon-bound elastic cuffs and drawcord hem that cinches from inside the pockets. Harness compatible. Stuffs into its own pocket; carabiner clip-in loop.

100% Recycled Down

There’s a huge upside when you can turn waste into something beautiful; we’re doing that with Recycled Down. It’s a mix of either 600- or 700-fill-power goose and duck down reclaimed from cushions, bedding and other used items that can’t be resold. The reclaimed down is washed, using detergent and thermal water at 34 degrees Celsius, then dried at 135 degrees Celsius (20 minutes longer than the industry standard), making it hypoallergenic. Recycled Down offers the identical performance benefits to virgin down.
