Riverbank horseshoes, swimming, then wings—the multitasking Lithia makes the most of a long, summer day. Made of lightweight, durable 57% organic cotton/43% TENCEL® lyocell jersey fabric, it has a soft, smooth drape. Wear it as an A-line hiking skirt or a sunny day beach-ready top. As a skirt, its doubled, wide waistband cinches down with ties on the right side, and it falls just above the knee. As a top, the adjustable waistband becomes a bandeau-style bodice that ties behind the neck. Length (size M) is 17" waist to hem.
  • Jersey knit with a soft hand and smooth drape
  • Snug and wide cinched waistband; adjustable on right side with ties
  • A-line skirt falls above the knee
  • When converted to a top, the waistband becomes a bandeau-style bodice and the ties secure behind the neck
  • 4.8-oz 57% organic cotton/43% TENCEL® lyocell
  • 141 g (5 oz)
  • Made in Vietnam.

Wrinkle Resistant

TENCEL® is a branded lyocell fiber that comes from the pulp of trees that are grown on sustainably run farms certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC).

The eucalyptus wood pulp is dissolved in a non-toxic organic solvent. The solution is extruded through fine holes to produce fiber and the solvent is recycled in a closed-loop process – more than 99% of the solvent is recovered and reused. We ensure that the fabric processing of TENCEL® lyocell fiber does not utilize any harmful chemicals (like formaldehyde).

TENCEL lyocell is a high-tenacity cellulosic fiber, which gives high strength properties to the fabric which can then be used in place of other regenerated cellulose fibers such as viscose rayon.

Organic Cotton

In 1996, with an increased awareness of the dangers of pesticide use and synthetic fertilizers in growing conventional cotton, we began the exclusive use of organically grown cotton in all of our cotton products.

The quality of organic cotton is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton, yet organically grown methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water. Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, for now, costs more. But it’s worth it.

To ensure we are buying cotton that is organic as defined by the USDA’s National Organic Program, we require numerous certificates issued by an accredited third-party certification body for every step of the supply chain, from farm to factories.

Women's Lithia Skirt is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 50.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Didn't work for me I loved the look of this is the catalogue and it just didn't pan out. The fabric is a little thin and the print is kind of....looks like it will fade away. But the fit was just off. The waste looks cute with a bikini top but horrible under a t-shirt becuase it is bulky. And the skirt just didn't hang right on me. I'm a size 2, ordered a small.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Super Comfortable But Fades Quickly I bought this skirt for knocking around in, and it's perfect for that when paired with a t-shirt. Super comfortable, it also has a sassy cut to it. I've worn it to casual dinners, to the zoo with the kids, on a plane, walking around a city, etc. At just barely 5'2", it hits right at the top of my knees, if you're wondering about the length on you. Those positive things aside, I bought the black and the color faded out to a very dark gray after only a couple of washes, which was disappointing when one factors in the price. Because I love wearing it so much, I'll be using a wash-in dye to revive the color, but I wish I didn't have to do it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Work, play, everything in between I love with skirt, its soft comfortable and looks great. Dries quick, doesn't wrinkle. My favourite feature is that you can flip the top portion over, which takes it from a work skirt to a going-out skirt. Perfect for camping or being in the outdoors, but doesn't look like it when wearing in the city!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faded horribly I loved this skirt right out of the package... until I washed it. After 1 wash using the delicate cycle and cold water, it faded so badly that it is unwearable. It also pilled a bit too. ONE WASH. I'm bummed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not my favorite skirt or top On the plus side, the soft cotton is lovely and Patagonia has a knack for designing beautiful patterns. I just can't figure out how to wear this. As a top, the fit is really baggy through the torso. As a skirt, i can't seem to make tops work, tucked in or out, with the gathered waist and drawstring hanging off the side. The 17" length works well to dress up or down, I just wish this had a smooth, wide waistband instead of trying to be a top and skirt at the same time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute Skirt! Got this skirt a few years back and I love it! I ended up getting two because they were so comfy and cute. Great with a t shirt and flip flops, and switching it to a halter is really cute too. Perfect for hot Southern summers! I've had these skirts for 4 years and I still love wearing them. Plus Patagonia customer service is great!! Always a plus!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cute Skirt! I am 5'1" and 115. I ordered a M and it fits nicely. I could have probably gotten a S as well and maybe I'll order one in a different color in small. I am not a fan of how the convertible top fits but it is totally worth buying for the skirt alone,
