While Monteverde’s cloud forests filter out the sun, it’s Costa Rica’s simmering heat that eventually wears you down. Wrap yourself in this T-shirt for some skin-saving relief. Worn alone in hot conditions, our lightest-weight Merino baselayer exchanges heat and moisture between your skin and the air to keep you cooler and more comfortable. It also layers easily as part of a system for colder weather. Merino wool is naturally breathable, regulates body temperature and stretches. It's also wonderfully soft and naturally resists odor. Ours is sourced from the grasslands of Patagonia. We slow-wash it for softness and shrink resistance, without the use of chlorine, then blend it with 35% Capilene® recycled polyester for durability and for dry times and moisture transfer superior to that of 100% merino. Features include a self-fabric collar for chafe-free comfort, full underarm gussets for unhindered shoulder mobility, low-bulk merrow seams to minimize chafing, offset shoulder and side seams to lie smoothly beneath pack straps, and a drop tail for additional coverage. Machine wash cold; machine dry at low temperatures.
  • Fine merino wool from the grasslands of Patagonia blended with Capilene® recycled polyester for improved wicking, durability and dry time
  • 18.9 micron-gauge yarn; jersey-knit construction
  • Slow-washed without chlorine to prevent shrinkage
  • Self-fabric binding at collar with internal neck tape for comfort; locker loop for hang-drying
  • Offset shoulder seams eliminate chafing under pack straps
  • Full underarm gusset for range of motion and chafe-free comfort
  • Low-bulk merrow seams to minimize chafing; drop tail for more coverage
  • 3.5-oz (120-g) 65% chlorine-free merino wool/35% recycled polyester. Fabric is bluesign® approved

Women's Merino Lw T-Shirt is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from New favorite t-shirt Bottom line I love this shirt. After wearing it a handful of times, I bought a second (and then later a third in long sleeves). It's super lightweight and breathable, with off-shoulder sleeve seams for those of us with broader shoulders and/or some muscle, and all the great qualities of merino. I can often go either S or XS with Patagonia, but I bought the S because I like my shirts mostly fitted but with a little drape. The XS was a tighter, more form-fitting fit - if that's your style, I'd size down. I'm getting pickier and pickier about my baselayers - they're workhorses, so I want them to be just right - and this is a clear winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soooo versatile! The first shirt I wore all over China and multiple countries. It's super light, comfortable and one of the best travel shirts I've ever purchased. I wore the first out after 2 years and have just purchased 2 more...great for layering!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect T I finally took trust in the fact that wool could be temperature controlling and boy I'm excited I did. I sweat like crazy in most situations and this shirt wicks and dries so quickly. A must have on or off the trail.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from See through ! This material is completely sheer, who wants to wear and undershirt hiking? I'm not someone who is comfortable wearing see through tops, so this did not work for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! Fits great, doesn't smell, looks nice enough to wear around town but can definitely hack it outside, too.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Comfortable Layer. I found this to be a great layer for moderate temperature. I switched back and forth between this shirt and the lightweight capilene t-shirt while hiking the Camino de Santiago in Sept/October. The merino wool dries quickly and is a great lightweight travel shirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my favorite alpine shirt! This is my favorite shirt to alpine climb in. Also is great for desert winter adventures. Fit is slim, wears well under a pack, doesn't get smelly quickly.
