I bought two pairs of these mittens to go with my jackets. I was nervous at first because they felt a bit slight on any insulation, but tried them out today and they were really warm! Pleasantly surprised. I bought a small and the are still too big. I must have small hands, but they will allow to have a liner or another pair under them. Im not havi... Read Moreng much luck finding gloves or mittens to fit my hands. But I love them anyway!
great quality very warm mittens. I bought extra small and roomy enough for me to use the patagonia glove liners underneath. I get raynauds syndrome and this combination is perfect for me!
Great quality but I have no idea who would fit the wrist area comfortably. I am 5ft3in, 112lbs with very small wrists. I really wanted to like these, but as soon as I put them on, the blood circulation to my hand felt like it was getting cut off. The hand length fits perfectly but unfortunately I am returning these. I hope this is fixed in future m... Read Moreaking so I can purchase these!
I read the other reviews about the wrist area being tight, and was a little hesitant, but I have smaller wrists and they fit me perfectly! I like them a little snug so that wind/rain/snow stays out. The mittens themselves are SUPER warm and very waterproof. I wore them apple picking on a rainy day and despite the exterior of the mittens being very ... Hey Cassie, thanks for the review. It sounds like an [exchange](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html) for an XS is in order. The XS measures in at 7" for the hand length from the top of the middle finger to the hem; and the S measures in at 7.25". We think that cut in length should help. If you need any other measurements, please reach out to our customer service team.

Too tight on the wrists,
Too tight on the wrists, too long on the mitten compartment, not very warm in windy sub freezing conditions
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review and we are truly very sorry to hear that they missed the mark. Please rest assured that we will be passing this feedback along to our Product Design Team. In the meantime, please feel free to [return](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html) your mittens at any time as we want you to be completely satisfied with all of your Patagonia items.

They're awesome!
I received these as a gift and I love them (and the gold color)!
I know these aren't the most technical versions of mittens but they did the job on a snowshoe hike to the top of Mt. Marcy (Adirondacks) in sub-freezing temps and 30mph winds. I also like how they scrunch down small and take very little room in pocket / pack.
I bought a pair in 2021. I ordered two more pairs and they are huge! I messaged Patagonia and was told they made design changes in 2022. I ordered a Medium two years ago and now will need a S or XS. I wish I could post photos for the review.
As a knitter, I hate to say that, but if you want to keep your hands warm while outside in winter, I recommend that you choose these. Even though I have Reynauds, they are toasty to about 38 degrees F, and I add a battery operated glove liner under them to keep my hands warm to about 18 degrees F. I have also worn them in these temps with significa... Read Morent wind chill (15-30 mph). They wash well in a laundry mesh bag, hung to dry. I am a fall, winter, spring NE hiker, and wouldn't go without these. Perhaps give hand measurements to go with your unisex sizes, and broaden color choices as improvements. Thanks for a great product!
Three little kittens ( they lost their NANO PUFFS)
This was a Christmas present from my Hubby..... They are absolutely awesome for their price. Light weight but so so warm. I have Reynaud's syndrome.... I need warm mittens that are warm & waterproof!! They are both!! FYI: we did not read that they are UNISEX so we had to exchange for a smaller size. That was also "NO PROBLEM AT ALL.
I run cold and found these moderately warm. When paired with a merino liner, my hands were comfortable when out running in the mid-20s with some wind. By themselves, they were good in the mid-30s.
Thanks for your feedback! We really appreciate your details about layering and temperatures.

These mittens are ill fitting
These mittens are ill fitting and very thin and flimsy. The elastic in the wrists is extremely small and tight. The undersized elastic in the wristband made it difficult to put the mittens on. The tight elastic was also uncomfortable and almost cut off the circulation to my hands . I am returning these mittens.
We're sorry to hear these mittens didn't work for you, Barbara! Thank you for [returning](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html) something that wasn't going to be a good fit. We're sharing your feedback with our product team. In the meantime, please let us know if we can be of any help with that return!

Super warm
I like how warm they are and the buckle to hold them together is helpful as well as the wrist loop on the end which is nice for putting them on, hanging them up, or attaching them to my backpack. Overall like them but there are a few specific things that could be better. I think the wrist cuff is bit too tight and makes it tougher to put them on. A... Read Moredditionally, the outer material seems a bit flimsy and not the most robust. I would like them a lot more if the outer material felt more durable and burly.
The mittens are pretty nice, but the wrist bands are super tight, presumably to keep the snow out. These bands are not adjustable and I find myself constantly moving the bands over different parts of my hands to relieve the pressure. I've resorted to trying to stretch the bands by storing the mittens stretched over water bottles. Also, I don&#... Read Morex27;t understand why these need to cost so much. Hi Rob, thanks for the kind words! It sounds like these mittens are just not going to work well for you. We're sorry to hear that! We'll reach out to you about returning them, if you wish.

cute and warm!
I was worried the mittens might be too big since they're unisex, but they fit well and the elastic around the wrist is very snug. For reference, my hand is about 6.5" long. The palm size of the mitten is lined so you can hold on to stuff without it slipping. They keep your hands warm and protected from the wind and I can't recommend ... Read Morethem enough!
Bought these for my wife for Christmas. She absolutely loves them. Had a really cold stretch here in Virginia and these mittens kept her hands warm on the drive to work.
Love th this mitten.
Hiked in 30 degree rain for an hour and a half before the water made it through to my hands.
Only issue is the wrist stitching is wayyy to small to get your hand into the mitten.
These little mittens are perfect for a cold evening or for wearing while plowing the driveway. They are unisex so order sizing accordingly. I usually wear a medium, but sized down and they are perfect!
I am dissapointed in these mittens. Not the usual Patagoina durability. One time too close to a campfire and the back of the mitten melted. I should have been more careful. However, I have used other similer mittens in this situtation with no ill effects
Hi Paul, thank you for submitting this review. The Nano Puff fabric is a lightweight synthetic, and as such can melt if exposed to extreme heat. We're sorry this happened to you! We want you to be happy with everything you get from us, and we will reach out to you about options for returning them under our warranty.

So light yet so warm
When they arrived, and I felt them, I thought theres no way these are going to keep my hands warm. They are amazing. They do. I love them!
Cannot rave about these enough. Truly the best, warmest mittens for general use. I bike to work in them, run in them in really cold weather, drive in them. Bought them for everyone in my family!
I love these mittens, especially when worn with my nano puff jacket. Super warm and comfy, makes me feel like a baby in bunting! Makes me want some matching pants to go with them. I love my patty!
I have a touch of Renauds syndrome and my hands are always freezing in the winter. I like that they keep my hands toasty on my early morning walks. Now I wish they made them available as a glove! The only drawback is I am between a xs and s and went with the small and have about 1 - 1 1/2 " of space at the top of my finger tips.
Hey Peggy, thanks for the review. We're glad to hear you're enjoying these mittens! We want to let you know that the XS hand length measures in at 7" versus the S coming in at 7.25". It might be worth it to size down. If the mittens are still in new condition, you can begin the exchange process [here](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html).

Great product
These mittens are super warm and cozy. So much better than any other gloves Ive ever had :)
These mittens are terrific. Theyre super-warm, which is great for someone like me whose hands are always cold. The palm grips are good for driving too.
