My daughter bought this for me for Fathers Day...my usual size is Large but we returned it for a Medium which fits perfectly. Great jacket for San Francisco's cool weather year round. The jacket has an extra pocket outside as well as interior pockets!
I dont care for the the modifications made to this long standing product, I.e. the tight sleeve ending, same for waist. Love most of your products and company, your environmental emphasis and will continue to only buy Patagonia.

Comfortable to throw on. Easy
Comfortable to throw on. Easy to wear with a T-shirt or collared shirt. Washes and dries fast.
It fits nicely but just a tad larger that I would like, still acceptable. This keeps me warm in low 50s weather. Very comfortable material and light weigh.
Perfect fleece for layering in the winter and on its own in spring and fall.
My husband has difficulty finding jackets that are long enough in the back. He also wants lots of pockets. This jacket is perfect on both accounts. He is very slim (all the miles of daily dog walking) and the fit is perfect. He has been buying these jackets for years. This years purchase added 3 to his collection.
I was looking for a soft, cozy, fleece. Initially wanted the Retro pile but found it to fit poorly through the chest and arms for both M and L~ skinny fit. The Synchilla zip is has more room up top without being too long or baggy.
I did not like the design of the product. It felt too lightweight to be worn in cooler temperatures and the elastic band around the waist and wrists seemed to be of poor quality.

Big Ballin
I bought this along with the matching sweatpants and I feel like a black teddy bear that uses only honey for currency.
I got the Synchilla Fleece Jacket. It is possibly the perfect fleece jacket. It runs kinda big but not in a bad way, the hem still hits normal waist length, I wear a small and ordered a small, and the arms aren't too long either. It is a tight weave of fleece so not much wind breaking through, so its good for walks around the block to walk the... Read More dog in cold weather. But it's cozy enough to wear in the house or while driving (it doesn't pill like it's Synchilla snap-t p/o cousin) so its super versatile. I'm trying not to wear it everyday but I love it so much so it's been tuff not to put it on each day since getting it. I like items you can wear in the house as well as outside and this one is for sure one of those.
This was my first Patagonia anything. I'm 40 now and look for comfort and warmth, but still kind of want to look cool. I went with the Synchilla Fleece jacket, which in my opinion is the sharpest of Patagonias fleece jackets. I love it! Warm and comfortable. I went with the Sequoia Red color. This color is more pink in person than I would like... Read More. I think a DEEP RED would look very sharp in this jacket. I also have a Synchilla Snap on the way, which I'll obviously love, and a Synchilla Anorak on the way. Love that Synchilla. Thank you.
