Not quite right
I returned these tights. Fabric does seem as though it would be warm, but did not have as much stretch as other tights, were a little bit more difficult to pull on correctly (had to arrange the fabric in some spots on my legs). There are seams that run behind the knee; I was concerned these may cause chafing during a multi-hour run, although I did ... Read Morenot test these, have had that happen on other tights. And I didn't like the look of the seam running from waist to crotch. These probably work well for many people, just not quite right for me.
Snug & Warm
I waited for these tights to be in stock for a year and finally when they were up on the website, I bought all three colors. They are extremely comfortable and you can use them for any activity. I have a black one that I purchased years ago and after several washes, the fabric has stayed the same. Definitely recommend this one.
I usually love Patagonia but these really fall short of the mark. They ripped along the upper seam on the outside of the leg after a couple of times wearing them. After one winter they already look very tired (lacking elasticity and getting thinner). I invested in these expecting them to last and I have been very disappointed.

Ripped on First Wear
I love Patagonia products, I have serval jackets and sweaters that have served me long and well throughout all different types of conditions. Hi Daniela, thank you for taking the time to write us a review! We're really sorry to hear that your pants ripped the very first time you wore them. We'd definitely consider this a warranty issue so you're welcome to return them to us for a new pair. We've reached out to you directly with further assistance.
New favorite leggings!
I ordered these tights after they went on sale and so glad that I did! They are seriously my go-to weekend pants now. They come just above my hips and are very slimming. I normally wear a 2-4 in jeans and ordered a medium and they fit well. Very nice quality, and I especially like the little tie in the waist that helps keep them in place.
A bright spot in 2020
I love these tights. They are so warm, so comfortable, look great, and even have little reflectors for walking in the dark. Perfect Fit! Perfect Feel
These tights are perfect! They are very soft, great in cooler weather, and wash up like new. Length is just right ( I have longer legs and they hit right above my ankle). The waistline also sits above my hips which is nice, as I'm tired of tights that sit on my hips (or below) and always seem to be one step away from falling down to my knees. ... Nice fit but too long!
I wanted to like these leggings so much! They are comfy, warm, and soft. The fit is really nice around the waist area and calves. Love these tights
I love these tights. I have them in the navy blue color. They are great for running. I have even used while snow shoeing with gaiters. I have worn these a while and the shape and fit have held up. No pilling! I have also worn for yoga and they are good for a non-sweaty class (would be too warm otherwise) and not doing a pose such as tree (because the slippy material might make it more difficult). Based on my experience I imagine these would be great for cold-weather cycling as well.
Perfect in every way
Bought these for winter training, long days of 26-30 miles, prepping for an ultra 50mi. These are exactly what I needed. Love the fit, brushed warm interiors that keep my legs just right in high 20/low 30 temps. Fit is true to size, I'm 5'8" and a size 8, medium fits like a glove. This is my first pair of Patagonia tights. I was hesitant about sizing as pant sizing has always been a bit of a challenge with the cut and inseams- not this one! (I’m 5’1, 112#, got size xs). I have been waiting years to find Patagonia leggings that have warmth, they are finally here! Great for winter running
The waist band is wide and not constricting. The only feature I wish these had was a side pocket to stash gloves or a headlamp. Highly disappointed in lack of warmth
In terms of fit these tights are great. Soft and comfy. But I bought these as winter running tights. I took them for one run when it was 36*F outside and my legs were colder than if I wore any other pair of tights I own. I can't believe how thin and lacking in warmth technology these are. I expect more of Patagonia.

No tugging! Soft and comfy!
I’ve worn these for some runs now and they are GREAT. They performed well at keeping me warm enough at 10-15F and the best part is they stayed in place the entire run both times with no tugging or awkward adjustments. Considering buying a 2nd pair. Love that they are shorter for my short little hobbit legs. At 5’3 and 135 the small fits great.
Great for Winter Running
So far these are my favorite winter trail running pants. Stay in place perfectly. This is the most amazing pair of tights I ever own, the material feels just right, it’s thick but not heavy and it molds to my body perfectly for a great run or any other exercise! Nice but short
These are nice tights. As many people have mentioned, they are a really nice, comfortable material. Soft, not scratchy or pokey at all. Definitely comfy to wear. I find them to be on the tight side around the waist, but most problematically, they are QUITE short. My ankles are totally exposed. I'm not sure how the model in the pic can be 5'9" and wearing a size S. That seems highly suspect to me. Anyhow, just wish they had a more generous length.
best leggings I've owned
I am not a leggings person since I prefer looser clothes, but this pair feels so comfortable that I don't need to cringe when I put them on. They work well in climbing gyms but unfortunately the rocks ripped a hole when I climbed outside. I patched them up and they are still my favorite pair of leggings.
Wow. My new favorites.
I am 5'8, 140# (give or take) and have cyclers' legs. I bought a size medium and I think they fit perfectly. I typically wear size 8 pants (if that helps). These seriously have become my new favorite tights because (1) they fit comfortably, I don't even "notice" them- which means they are not so tight that my legs cannot breathe and they are not loose either. **miracle**, (2) the elastic at the ankle doesn't cut off circulation and leave indentations on my skin, (3) they don't ride up in the crotch area (sorry for my bluntness), (4) the wind doesn't go right through them which keeps me warm, (5) they have reflective pieces, (6) the waist lays flat so when I wear them under my lululemon running skirt it doesn't bunch up or make me looks like I've got a pouch for a stomach, and (7) they stay in place! No bunching, no sliding off. Honestly, these are a bit see through on a very sunny day so I wouldn't bend over in front of someone and I'm mindful to wear black undies .. but that is no deal breaker given all the other great qualities. I have 6 other pairs of tights, these put them all to shame because of their lightness, comfortableness, warmth, and windbreaker effect. I bought another pair in same color so that I am never without these.

Ultra comfortable, not super warm
I'm 5'5, 120 lbs and the small fits perfectly. These tights are weightless, with no chafing or slipping. I love them for running and hiking. However, they are not ideal for the winters in Montana. They're perfect if it's above 20 degrees with no wind (in other words, spring). I have to find a pair of windproof tights, I think.

Great quality, but sheer in the back, can see any print or design on underwear. I wanted to love these leggings, but they are just so so. The ankle is not tight. I do like the fit, as these are not super tight, if you want a tight compression type pant, I would size down. Definitely not worth the hefty price tag.
