Please change it back (to 24107)!
This old pant is terrific, I could not recommend it more highly. But the new version is lighter material, does not have the deep zipper pockets, and has a drawstring front instead of the sleek lines of the original version. Please bring it back! So disappointed that I did not purchase and will be searching for another favorite.
My everything pant
I got these pants as a nordic ski pant alternative and they are so much more! I use them running in cool weather, for hiking in the spring, I wear them under my waders, and they will be coming with me to Europe as a staple in my travel bag. I wish these pants held up better because I LOVE them!
As others have stated, these pants just aren't built to last but I am obsessed with the wearability and comfort of the pant. The material they use in the butt area just gets these little microtears in them. It has happened on all 5 pairs I have of the old & new versions. Perfect for NoCO Winter!
I finally put these leggings to the test. I have already done several 10-mile runs wearing them in near freezing (upper 20s and 30s) conditions and they were wonderful as a solo-layer (sometimes even a bit warm) although I initially thought they were a bit loose, more as pants than leggings. I am such a fan of these pants; now I have no concerns with keeping my legs warm in any winter conditions.
These were great wind pants, new version is very thin
I have had a few versions of these pants and was impressed with the older versions for their comfort, slight durability, and thicker material. This somewhat justified the high price. I bought these for hiking and trail running in the Smoky Mountains. They are warm for running high 30's and 40 degree temps, but great hiking in those temperatures. Seams ripped out after regular use
I purchased these pants around December 2020. I fit firmly into the XS category by the size chart and that pant size fit well. I'm 5'1" /35" hips / 26" waist. I am compact but muscular. I tried to repair the pants with a stretchy goretex patch but I am not sure how long that will last. If you are wearing these for light use or for a more minimal range of motion they may work well. I do not recommend these for all outdoor activities.
