I wear these for hot yoga but have also worn them as a layer when hiking. They work well for yoga, helping to control the sweat and allowing me to do poses that I would too easily slip out of with bare legs. It took a while to find yoga tights for men that weren't too revealing in the hot zone area. These tights are just a bit loose which I pe... Read Morersonally like. The flat front on these works well to not accentuate things. Some patterned colored versions would help this even more. A previous version in urban black/gray camo works extremely well in doing that. As far as hiking in them, I wore them under hiking pants on my first 14er last October. I ditched the pants at one point to help manage temperature and the tights alone worked well and didn't seem to out of place on the mountain.
I am not a tights guy, but these tights were the difference between running or not with how cold this winter was. Coupled with the Strider Pro Shorts these tights were warm and comfortable on dozens of rain runs. Seem technically perfect, but admittedly limited total use. I would probably try the small for my next pair.
I Love the Endless run series! The tights are the best I've ever owned by any other brand that makes mens tights (I've tried them all). I live in Chicago area and these work for me spring & autumn when I run, the summer I only wear on occasion for running, but I also wear them when I do yoga, go climbing and bring them on hiking trips... Read More. I have only two things I recommend, 1) PLEASE make more colors, Its so disappointing the lack of options and 2) a warmer weight version of these would be amazing.

Great Tight, But Size Up If On the Cusp
I love the pockets on this tight. I wear them for Montana Winter running. These are great when it's too cold for shorts and but too warm for thicker wool tights. My thick wool running tights are so amazing, but these cover a pretty wide range of temps too, and have better pockets.
Just size up if you are close to in in-between sizes, because ... Read Morethese fit very tight and snug.
Thanks for the feedback, Joel. These do have a formfitting fit, so we recommend sizing up if you like something with a looser feel. You can check the fit of any item by checking underneath the color options on the product page. If you're interested in another option with a bit more wiggle room, check out the [Men's Trail Pacer Joggers](https://www.patagonia.com/product/mens-trail-pacer-running-joggers/24800.html?dwvar_24800_color=BLK&cgid=root) which have a slim fit. Feel free to reach out to customer service if you need any garment measurements or have additional questions or concerns!
Perfect weight for running and hiking in twenty to forty degree weather. Pockets are a great place to stash gloves, a beanie, snacks, keys, or even a phone.
I used this as a base layer under snow bib during a very cold snowboarding trip. I was worried they were too thin, but they helped to keep me warm and dry. The legs run a little long for me.
This is the second pair of these I have bought. I still have the first pair and they are still going strong. I love the fabric, which is smooth but not silky, tough, keeps its stretch and warm but not hot. The side pockets on either leg are great for my phone during a run, walk, etc. The medium size is just right for me as a 5;11"slim male. I ... Read Morelove these tights!
I've had a similar pair of running tights from Patagonia for ten years that I wear running in the cold months here in the Northeast (wear them at least twice a week). They've lasted really well with no signs of serious wear. I bought these to have a second pair just so I can run more in the cold months with clean gear. They seem to be mad... Read Moree just as well with a few minor design tweaks. Theres an outside pocket now thats big enough for a cell phone though running with a phone in the side pocket doesn't work for me - it shakes and pulls the tights down. Theres also a front drawstring which is fine. Medium is probably my size but I prefer these to actually be a little big so I wear large which are still tight and don't chafe or anything. Highly recommend for cold weather runs.
Chiming in here to echo much of what's already been said. Winter running in Chicago is some of my favorite and I used to swear by the Peak Mission in colder temps. That was until the endless run were made for men (hell, I even tried the womens ERT for a season). I honestly cant remember the last time I chose PM over these guys. They do what an... Read Morey good tight should, disappear. Dual hip pockets are perfect (makes me feel like a cowboy with my holsters) but I do wish they still had a lower back pocket. My biggest gripe with any and all tights/shorts is the waist tie. I cant be the only one who nature calls while on a run and I hate having to untie and retie and in colder temps that can be nearly impossible some days. Last thing, I like my tights tight so I always go with a small in Patagonia tights. Im usually a 31 in pants and at 6 ft. Im usually recommended mediums but the smalls are perfect.
Love the material and pockets. Worn on many short runs and one 50k, and they are comfortable, wick sweat, and stay put thanks to the drawstring. I would say they run a bit large as I am typically a medium but find the small to be a perfect fit (Im 6ft and 170lbs).
These tights work well in the many climates and activities for me. I purchased the tights specifically for running but have found myself using them for other activities like hiking, lifting and general use as a first layer.
Great fit, love the pockets, and performs well at 28° f
I purchased these tights for winter running, and thus far I am very stoked about this purchase. I hope that the material lasts for a long time given how much I am enjoying wearing these in Utah winter conditions.
Great running tights, full stop. They are comfortable, warm, breathable in the right areas to vent heat on long runs, light, and have pockets in the right number and location to remain functional for 20+ mile excursions. My one concern is their departure from the Endless Run short/half-tight. The short version of these tights are my favorite runnin... Read Moreg short to date. I own two pairs and don't run in anything else. I've run marathons and longer in those shorts and adore them. One of the best features of that tight is the front panel: you aren't "exposed" to the world despite wearing a tight. These full-length tights are missing that front panel, which means you must either embrace exposing your below-the-belt constitution to anyone you pass while running, wear underwear (which defeats the purpose of a tight), or wear shorts over the top. I choose to embrace it, but I don't enjoy doing as much. I hope a future version of this tight will maintain all the features that make it so great, but also integrate a front panel to make runs in public a little less... personal.
These are the nicest pair of men's tights I own. I work at a running store and these tights have features that I seem to only see in women's tights: two hip pockets, seamless ankle openings, and super nice material. They feel luxurious when slipping them on! The only issue is that the material is so stretchy that, while comfortable, they ... Read Moreslide around a bit. I'm usually dead in the middle of medium on sizes and these feel like I could take a small and be just as happy. If someone told me they were a little in between sizes, I would definitely recommend sizing down.
I purchased these for an upcoming 5K held in mid October in Michigan. They were perfect. As a bonus the side pockets provide just the thing to hold my phone when working out at gym.
These are the best running tights I have worn in the last dozen years. The pockets are the best feature! I keep my phone in one. The other usually holds my Houdini jacket or vest. The fabric is the right weight for PNW winters. I have three pair now and retired all my other running tights.
Fit: True to size, a little long for me but not too bad.
Comfort: Delightful next-to-skin feel. The tag in the waistband was irritating at first but once I got it torn our properly with a seam ripper all was well.
Warmth: I found these to be really comfortable, a step up from shorts to be sure but not overly warm.
