Dear Patagonia community,
The COVID-19 pandemic is taking over communities around the world at an astounding rate. While testing availability in the United States is still limited, and so the extent of the virus’s spread is largely unknown, we want to do our part to protect everyone. The safety of our employees and our communities is our top priority, and we are taking responsible precautions to help stop the spread of this scary virus where we can.
We have temporarily closed our stores, offices and other operations in the United States. We have also closed stores and offices in Argentina, Chile, Japan and across Europe. Our Australia and South Korea operations will continue on a modified work schedule in stores and offices, with some stores closed depending on location. Employees who can work from home will do so. All Patagonia employees will continue to receive their regular pay during these closures.
We are working to find solutions to protect the safety of our warehouse team, and we hope to have an update about online orders in the coming weeks. We apologize that over the next two weeks there will be delays on orders and customer-service requests. We ask for your understanding and patience. We will continue to keep you updated with new developments.
We encourage our friends everywhere to take the extra precautions necessary to safeguard their health and that of others. It’s everyone’s responsibility to help stop the spread of this virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and your local health authorities are the best resources for updates and answers to questions.
Over the years, as our Patagonia community has been faced with challenges,I have always been inspired by how we emerge stronger and with an even deeper sense of purpose. We will persevere through this challenge, too.
Thank you for your business, loyalty and patience.
CEO and President
At first, I wondered why all of these analysts at my firm were wearing these. I ended up being sucked into purchasing one of these vests due to having meetings with higher-up staff members who consistently wears these. Now, I feel like I can confidently write macros and call them AI without remorse. The fitting is great, and now the baristas at Sta... Read Morerbucks seem to now remember my name because I look important. Great buy, life changing!
It is a great investment!
See what I did there? Anyway, I am always cold from November through March (Northern Indiana). I usually walk around the house in a hoodie. I thought this vest would be a great way to stay warm while getting some freedom of movement back. I was right. The weight is perfect! The fit and finish is great too. I have no regrets. I wish I could have cau... Read Moreght it on sale, but I take care of my gear so I plan to have it for a while. The black vest might not be the best choice if you have a dog with anything but black hair. Make sure you have rollers handy.
He loves it!
My husband was eyeing the Patagonia vest for the past year. I was unable to find his size in the store, so I went to your website placed my order and 2 days later it was delivered to my door in time for Christmas! He's been wearing every day since Christmas. Thank you for an easy and convenient shopping experience.
Great quality and style
The young women really liked the quality and style-but the cut was smaller than the Mediums they normally wear. This was disappointing, as they had wanted to wear a tank or t-shirt underneath.
We are sorry to hear that fit was a little snug on this. If you'd like to [exchange](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html#searchterm=return) this for a larger size, please feel free to do so. Thanks for the feedback!
Love the sweater fleece
I have a Better Sweater vest and performance hoody. I love both. The knit weave is soft, comfortable, and more “formal” looking than plain fleece (like a sweater). They are very breathable, but on the flipside not wind resistant. I just wish they weren’t so expensive, otherwise I would get multiple in different colors.
I will admit, I stand outside the mainstream as many reviewers said this vest was a little on the losser side. But I have been buying Patagonia vests for years and find both the nano puff and this better sweater vest are much smaller than they were three or four years ago. I measuered one of my 5 year old nano puff vests and it measuered 23 inches ... Read Morewide just just under the arms. I stopped buying nano puff vests because the large was too tight in recent years. Hoping this Better Sweater vest would have the old fit of the Nano Puff, I took a chance. This vest is 21and 1/2 inches under the arms - a full 1 and 1/2 inches narrower than my old Nano Puffs. I would not care if the vest was relabelled as a narrow fit, but it is marked as a regular fit. My question: I buy ALL my Patagonia jackets in a large and there is ample room. Why did you crop 1.5 inches off the width of your vests and still label them as a “regular” fit? I think I would be swimming in the XL as I don’t have wide shoulders - so going up one size is not an option.
I ordered 2 sweater vests at the same time. I have another Patagonia vest and it is great... love it. It is size Large. I ordered 2 size Larges. The blue one fits fine (a little snug but ok). The grey one is so tight I cant wear it. And I already ripped the tags off so I am stuck with a $100 vest I cant wear. I wanted to order another vest (differe... Read Morent style) but am afraid it wont fit right and dont want to waste the money. Is it possible to exchange the grey sweater vest for an XL even though i removed the sale tag? Thanks
