Dear Patagonia community,
The COVID-19 pandemic is taking over communities around the world at an astounding rate. While testing availability in the United States is still limited, and so the extent of the virus’s spread is largely unknown, we want to do our part to protect everyone. The safety of our employees and our communities is our top priority, and we are taking responsible precautions to help stop the spread of this scary virus where we can.
We have temporarily closed our stores, offices and other operations in the United States. We have also closed stores and offices in Argentina, Chile, Japan and across Europe. Our Australia and South Korea operations will continue on a modified work schedule in stores and offices, with some stores closed depending on location. Employees who can work from home will do so. All Patagonia employees will continue to receive their regular pay during these closures.
We are working to find solutions to protect the safety of our warehouse team, and we hope to have an update about online orders in the coming weeks. We apologize that over the next two weeks there will be delays on orders and customer-service requests. We ask for your understanding and patience. We will continue to keep you updated with new developments.
We encourage our friends everywhere to take the extra precautions necessary to safeguard their health and that of others. It’s everyone’s responsibility to help stop the spread of this virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and your local health authorities are the best resources for updates and answers to questions.
Over the years, as our Patagonia community has been faced with challenges,I have always been inspired by how we emerge stronger and with an even deeper sense of purpose. We will persevere through this challenge, too.
Thank you for your business, loyalty and patience.

Frozen Range women's jacket is GREAT !
This is a wonderful garment. I was looking for a jacket that would keep me both dry and warm in the strong winds and rain/snow we have here in the winter on the northwest coast. This jacket does all of that, plus it's stylish enough for city wear. The quality of its construction and design is fantastic. The cut (shaped slightly slim thru the t... Read Moreorso) is flattering, but still roomy enough for a sweater underneath. The buttons and buttonholes are both extremely functional AND great looking, as are the pocket design and placement. The exterior fabric is flexible and not particularly stiff, despite being Goretex. The hood is awesome (yes, it IS a big and well-insulated hood) but somehow manages to crunch down rather attractively when not in use. I ordered a Medium. I'm 5'6", with a slim build, broad shoulders, and somewhat long torso I rate this 5 stars.
Great quality, really wanted to like it
I bought this jacket because I was looking for a the holy grail...a durable down jacket that could withstand some wet Boston weather and colder temps (down to 10F). I already have a big down parka and wanted something more athletic that would be good for cycle around town, Asia’s winter hikes, and snow sports. This jacket almost fit the bill. It ha... Read Mores a goretex outer and really excellent, lightweight down and was a real pleasure to wear. Except it runs small, has the weird button thing going on, and not even sure what is going on with the hood. I am usually an xxsmall in clothes and I size up to an xsmall or small in outer gear so I can layer. I bout this jacket in a small and it was tight around my wrists and the sleeve length was a little short. There’s no way I could fit a fleece comfortably underneath it. Also, I’m pretty small and I ave a small head and even though I ordered two sizes up than my usual, the hood felt tight. I felt like it was pushing down on my head (I’m 5’4” so no idea how I taller person would feel), and I also couldn’t even fit a beanie with a pompom inside the hood. Also, the hood comes out four inches in front of your face, so it’s like walking around with tunnel vision when the hood is up. And the hood doesn’t have a drawstring so it’s just tight all the time. And the buttons. There is a little handy phone-size poker near the placket but it’s under the buttons! I shouldn’t have to undo three buttons (not even snap buttons) every time I want to access that pocket. Long story short, I really wanted to keep this jacket but I just couldn’t. Hope the design team gets it better next year.
W's Frozen Range Jacket
Disappointed. A few days after wearing it, the filling started to come out in a few spaces inside the jacket. I waited to see if it would stop, but each day, One or two small pin holes appear allowing the feather to come out. Not sure what to do here…
Hey there, thanks for the feedback and we are sorry to hear that your jacket is leaking some down. Please note, with any down product, leaking can be normal. This will occur due to the sharp quills on those feathers poking through some of the seems. While this can happen from time to time, if it is occurring excessively and causing an annoyance, please feel free to [send](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html#searchterm=return) it back to us.
Classy and warm
This coat is gorgeous and beautifully crafted. It is not stiff at all like some describe. It is warm and full of insulation that easily compresses around you like a coveted comforter. I am 5’7” , 132 lbs with a fit, athletic build. I am a 36D and a medium fits beautiful even with a moderate layer (thick sweater, hoodie) and I have room to move. The... Read More hood is incorporated into the fabulously full, high collar that looks so classy as it blocks the severe wind where I live. The hood is large and deep which allows you to totally retreat from severe wind. Someone complained about the hood while driving, not to be an ass but who drives with a hood on?? Anyways, the toggle-like buttons give it a little edge opposed to looking like the typical I’m-hiking-Everest-look. This coat is a sleeper; with the Gore-Tex application and the lofty recycled insulation, this coat is worth every cent as it is very flattering too. Inside the very deep, external pockets are two more pockets; they will hold an iPhone XS Max separately from keys, you can stash some cash or chapsticks without having a clusterbomb in your pockets. This coat is awesome. LOVEEEEEE
I wanted to Love it
This seemed like the perfect coat for the Idaho mountain winters that last 7+ months. It seemed warm and the shell was a great addition to shed wet snow and wind how ever it made the jacket stiff and uncomfortably bulky compared to the high Loft hoody. The hood was over whelming and I cannot imagine driving while wearing this coat with all of that ... Read Morehood piled behind you. The buttons were a nice touch but annoying to do/ undo every time. I returned it for a new high loft hoody.
Hi Lauren, we're sorry to hear this didn't work out! This jacket is warmer and, unlike the Hi Loft, it is fully waterproof. This and its overall design contribute to its bulkiness. The Hi Loft is definitely a great pick if you're looking for a lightweight jacket though! Thank you very much for your feedback.
