Love this coat!
I bought this coat for my wife's birthday AND SHE LOVES IT!!! I showed her several choices from Patagonia and North Face for a 3-season coat and she picked this one due to the very nice styling of not only the outer rain shell, but the warm liner also. It suits her for these cold fall/winter mornings and wears just the liner all the time!!
The zip was horrible. A lot of trouble getting it to go up and down. The sleeves were very long. Perfect for Iceland.
We're glad to hear this parka worked well for your trip to Iceland! We'll reach out to you by email to discuss your options to fix that zipper, because your purchase is covered by our [Ironclad Guarantee](https://help.patagonia.com/s/article/Ironclad-Guarantee). Thanks for the review, Virginia!
Perfect If Sleeves Were Shorter
I love the fit of this coat except for the length of the sleeves. I am very disappointed because the coat is very flattering and comfortable. I would have the sleeves shortened but due to the snaps and double layer, it cannot be done. Therefore I have to return the coat. I am surprised Patagonia doesn't have a petite line.
We appreciate your feedback and we're sorry we don't offer petite nor tall sizing. We recommend checking with your [local Patagonia-owned retail store location](https://www.patagonia.com/store-locator/) for any possible repair, return, alteration or exchange. We're happy to help!

I am 5'2, 155ish lbs and the sleeves on this coat were over five inches too long. I have never had this issue before, but when paying this much for a coat I prefer that it fit a little better. Three in one is three times the trouble
I thought it would be economical to get a 3-in-1 jacket -- like wow, three jackets for the price of one! But it's really not worth the trouble. If it was warm enough for either layers to be worn by itself, then I would just grab a waist-length jacket. I also found that the edge of the coat flares in a strange way due to the 3-in-1 design.
I purchased this parka as I was looking for a coat to wear in the 30s and 40s degree range, warmer than a light parka but not as puffy as the parkas for the colder temperatures. I like the versatility of this parka, as it provides three different options. The inside layer is great to wear when it is in the 40s/closer to 50 degrees and not as windy,... Read More and the outside layer is a great raincoat. The reason I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 is I do wish the coat was a little bit warmer with both layers. I didn't feel it was quite warm enough for the 30s range without layers, although I do run cold. I love the color (the light purple) and this will be great for March and April in Minnesota when it is spring, but not yet warm!
Thank you so much for this detailed review, Cristina! This information will be very helpful for customers trying to make a decision.
Great Rain Coat
I wanted a full length coat to keep me warm, dry and to look good for city excursions. This coat does it all. Really well thought out construction and whole quality. I ordered a size up because I wanted to layer and wear winter sweaters underneath and even without the inner liner coat, it fits well if a little bit roomy. This one was more expensive but in this case, you get what you pay for. My only complaint is that the pockets are designed to keep water out and are not so comfortable to fit your hand into because of the flaps over each one.
Stiff and heavy
I like lightweight clothes I am barely feel on my body. The outer coat was very stiff and crunchy. The inner coat was Michelin man puffy. Like being swathed in a thick, move-constricting skin. Warm And Stylish
Pros: I was told by a Patagonia rep that with the zip in parka, this jacket was good for weather 40* F and up. I run on the cold side so I wore it in London in the fall where the temps were 50-64*F and rainy. This was the perfect jacket. It is heavy but once you put it on it feels lighter. I wasnt a bit cold in the jacket. It repelled the water and... Read More the hood was great for the rain-no umbrella needed. The Small was a bit large on me, but I prefer it that way so I can layer. Cons: the pockets, as others stated, are a bit awkward to get your hands into, but once you do, they stay warm and toasty. I would recommend this Parka.
The hardest things for me to find are jackets that fit my shoulders well without being too baggy in the trunk and finding outerwear with sleeves that are long enough. This jacket is perfect in both of these areas. Also, the hood is well designed and offers protection during wet weather. Very pleased.
I don't know if I've ever been more pleased with a purchase. I can't wait for the season to start and continue changing so I can wear this in stages. Pretty Color / Tried M & L with different layers
Because of the reviews, I ordered a M & L. I always wear a M in Patagonia. This is a slim fit coat so I didn't expect to wear multiple layers under it nor did I expect it to fit with a heavy layer under it. I tried the M & L with a base layer, sweater vest and sweater jacket. I did find the shoulders to be a little tight but because th... I kept the M as I loved the color and the fit was 90%. Also, I got it half price... with 3 jacket options!
Great style, flexible design, and DRY!
A well-designed, flexible coat system since lining can be removed. Coat fits appropriately with and without lining; snaps at wrist help to keep sleeves from being too long. Runs a bit small and material was thin
I bought this parka to replace my old trusty one, hoping it could endure Boston winters. I loved the color and the way it shaped my waist but besides that it was a fail for me. It was too tight around my shoulders. I found the material to be thin. And the pockets were uncomfortable to place your hands while walking in the city (wished they were pla... Ive had this coat for 3-4 years now, and its hands-down the best winter coat Ive owned. Its very warm and holds up well to New England winters. It washes well, keeps out the wind and light precip, and looks great. It did run slightly large; I was on the smaller end of the Small in the size chart, and the S was too big. XS is perfect.
3 options work very well
I've had my 3 in 1 jacket for several years. I lots a lot of weight, to turned in my first 3 in 1, for another one in a size M. Perfect for snow sports when it's in the lower 20's or colder. Beautiful Color, But Not Warm Enough
I knew I was taking a chance when I veered away from down, but I really loved the hyssop purple of this coat and I needed something water proof. I love Patagonia, but I am starting to worry that their production quality is declining, just as with almost every other brand. I have this coat from several years ago in an XS, and I LOVE it. Read Moree to more comfortably fit more layers underneath. I ordered this year's version in a S, and it is pretty disappointing. While the old one has metal zippers, this one has plastic. The lining material in this one feels thinner and a bit cheap. They got rid of the lovely wrist cuffs too, so now the overall look is pretty dull. They changed the hood adjuster so that now these tacky plastic tabs hang out. And the fit is a bad. The sleeves in this year's version are narrower than my old coat's, which defeats the entire purpose of having ordered a larger one to accommodate layers. And the body of this coat is all frumpy. What a shame. I really really hope Patagonia isn't going downhill. I'll be heartbroken and hard -pressed to find a new go-to company.

I love this jacket. Staying in New York for the winter and I HATE the cold. This jacket is my saving grace. It is warm no matter how windy, wet, or snowy. Great down alternative
I am highly allergic to down, so I am always looking for a good alternative. I live in the Northeast and find it to be plenty warm for everything I need it for. Beautiful Concept. Poor Execution
They say devil in the details. Size of the arms is devlish with this otherwise functional coat. Pretty good upgrades
My Patagonia down 3-in-1 parka got a hole in the lining after 10 years of heavy use. So, I sent it back to Patagonia and, when they couldn’t repair it, they gave me a credit for a new coat. The purple color is beautiful and I like the texture of the shell. The outer shell is much lighter than my old shell, and it is more packable. The pockets are a huge upgrade - so many awesome pockets in the right places. The cut of the parka is not as good. My old parka had a slight fit and flare shape and fit my 5’7” 145lb hourglass frame well in a size S. This new parka in a size M has room in the waist and just barely fits over my hips - why the straight manly cut, Patagonia? The other downgrade is the sleeves. My old Patagonia parka had zippers on the sleeve openings for ultimate sleeve adjustments but this coat has kinda tight sleeve openings with snaps that tighten further - not as functional, especially when I’m trying to see my smart watch.

I bought this coat to weather the winter in Vermont, and so far it has held up wonderfully. It kept me warm and dry through our first big snow storm, and the inner layer is great on it's own for the warmer days. It is pretty and sleek, and I love the length and that it covers my butt.

Hi Connie, I'm terribly sorry about the trouble you've experienced. It is correct that we do not have separate Vosque shells and liners for sale if lost.
