No go

This hat unfortunately didn't work for me. The ear pieces were too small and too tight, making the hat very uncomfortable. Sadly, I had to return it.

BEST BOOONIE HAT, PERIOD...

We used to have to cut the brim back an inch or more on the "MIL-SPEC" lids and then sew a new seamed edge(home economics classroom sewing machines back in the 80s were the tools de jour for this...) L R R Ps and such did this because the brim was made for SUN SHADE, which you rarely see in triple canopy jungle, when wet which was all the... Read More time the brim obscured your vision by drooping just below your eyes. Same issue when surfing, etc. This is a sweet lid, but an XL size would great. I have an inordinately LARGE head AND long hair. I have to kinda customize most hats by removing the lining and/or headband material... The fit is tight, BUT, this is actually a GOOD THING when in waves and wind... In fact, it's prollly BEST to have a snug fit. What's "PROLLY"??? Scottish for PROBABLY...(seriously... my MOM told me this and she's nearly 100% Scot...) Anyway, I have been wearing your clothing since 1982 or so, and as usual, you nailed it with this toque. I hear you. What's a "TOQUE", right??? CANADIAN for hat. Any hat, I believe. Sorry. I'm a writer and am very prone to perseverating, digressing, segueing, and going off line on a tangent... Or "OFF PISTE"...SORRY!!!!! 1982... Bought polypro long underwear and "HYDROFIL" socks, plus a brite orange BAGGIES WINDBREAKER for a 10 day hunt on NORTH MANITOU ISLAND that turned into 15 days due to weather... I was the ONLY one that was warm & dry & ever since then, I've sworn by YC's clothing as gear theory and practice. This hat rules... WORD How was that for circling back. Best clothing company on the planet, hands down. Thanks again, S.G. SCHWARZ II, FEROXFLEYES & GUIDE CIRCUS, Leland, MI OOOUUUTTTTT...
