This hat has a great fit to comfortable slip on and off your head. The fabric is soft, flexible and breathable. It is a great addition to my outdoor gear to keep the sun off my head and cool while sweating.

Great for windy days in Morro Bay as larger straw hats move in the wind. That said, wish the brim was a bit larger ( with same qualities) as this hat does not shade face quite enough
Ive only worn this a few times so far, because the weather has been warm. To me, this hat is a much heavier weight than my other hiking hats. Purchased this hat to provide some additioanl UV protection at the beach. I have a smaller head, so I selected the S/M which fit great. The adjustable element and chin strap worked great. The hat is cool and packs really well. I will definately consider it for fishing, and outdoor work in the sun as well.
Love the hat! I appreciated the many well thought out detailed. It's got a great wide and stiff brim that gives a lot of coverage. The underside is dark and anti reflective when the water or rocks give glare. There is a bungee tighten to customize the fit around the head and a chin strap. I loved the Quandary hat by Patagonia whrn I tried it on at my local REI. Out of a bunch of sun hats, it was probably the comfiest. Ideal weight, great feel. Alas, it wasn't to be. Please trust your customers to come back for your ethics & quality, not 90s marketing. Second, I wish the interior headband wasn't black. Anyone who's ever had dry skin knows exactly what I mean. A neutral grey, especially Heather's, would be a much better option for reaching wider audience.
I live in Florida and needed a hat to protect my head from the sun. The hat offers a flexible firm brim (NOT a soft brim), and an adjustable draw string for head sizing. I use the hat for walking, hiking and playing pickleball. With the 360° brim my head, face, ears are protected. GREAT hat !!!!

I like everything about this hat: It packs flat yet retains a stylish wave in the brim, the chin strap is elastic and can go under your chin or snug up on the back of your head, the brim is wide for sun protection, and there is a draw string to snug up the circumference if needed.
