This is an extremely lightweight and very comfortable long sleve shirt. I wear it around the house and when rowing. It wicks sweat and dries very well. I liked the first one I bought so much that I bought a second in another color. Glad that it was on sale!
I got mine (Wavy Blue) for their summer sale which was great as I need something to keep me cool and dry when I do the 5 day trek through the Salkantay trail in Peru for April 2024. I'm not sure if Patagonia staff will ever read my review but I hope they have some UPF sun gloves in the future so hikers like me can protect our hands from the UVA/UVB while keeping it cool and dry.
I bought the medium and probably should have gotten the large. The quality is the best. I live in the heat and humid south and it is great sun protection. i am 5"10", 170, 33 waist. I have the large one with the hood and like a little more loose fit.

I love the material of this shirt. It is cool in the summer, and this long sleave shirt is perfect for cool summer days and warm fall days. handles a good range of temps and activities (body temps). Dries quickly, and really wears light, weight-wise. Love this material for all active wear, and cant get enough.

These shirts were perfect 10 years ago, when they were called capilene silkweight, but Patagonia managed to make them even more perfect. Incredibly comfortable along a wide range of temperatures, and non-stink. The first shirt every day.
I like a loosefitting T shirt and these never seem to wrinkle and keep me cool and feel super comfortable on the skin. Bought this to wear to the beach or while kayaking. It feels cool and breathes well, but I think Ill stick with my hooded shirt for the kayak, because of the sun protection afforded by the hood. Anyway, for other hot humid sunny outings, this should have me covered.
This is the second long sleeve Capilene I buy this year. They are very comfortable, light, cool and perfect for hiking and/or climbing. Additionally, unlike some Patagonia items, this one does not look like a "box". It is slim and makes you look cool. Great product Patagonia, we love you!!
This is a great long sleeve shirt for hiking or climbing. Comfortable, soft and breathable. It also has a nice look which is something I believe Patagonia sometimes lacks. You dont get the feeling you are in a "box" as it has a nice line and design.
This is a super comfortable shirt. I could run in this if I wore shirts when I ran, instead I use it as casual wear. Nice and thin. The only thing I am not crazy about are those ridiculously long tags Patagonia is putting in their clothes now, lol.
Capilene cool is great stuff. I have several tees and a couple long sleeve. Perfect winter shirt under a sweatshirt for cold weather. Breathes fantastic. Never sticky or clammy. Great stuff.

Fits great, and performs well both indoors and outside. I have worn this as a single layer when trail running in 35° and then again the same day at the climbing gym. This piece is highly functional and I highly recommend.
I love this shirt. I wore a few over a 5-day backpacking trip and this shirt noticeably outperformed the others in keeping me cool, drying quickly, and was easily the most comfortable. One of the first things I did when I got home was ordered 3 more. When it was most important to me, this shirt showed its true value and performance capability.
Dr I wear LS tees for casual wear and then turn them into work tees. They are the best well worth the extra $ due to quality. Thick, the necks dont breat down neither do the cuffs they stay snug wash after wash (cold water) The colors are bright!

I just bought two of these shirts and I absolutely love them. They are super light weight and extremely soft. I wore them out on the boat to keep the sun off even when it was quite warm outside and I never got over heated. New favorite shirts.

Sun protection!
Great light weight shirt for staying cool while exposed and safe from the sun!
These capilene shirts long sleeved shirts from Patagonia are the best. The product provides excellent UV protection, wicks away moisture and keeps me cool in the hottest conditions. I have found that these shirts are durable, comfortable and good looking. What more can I say, I am a huge fan.
Absolutely love these shirts ! First love the looks(graphics and colors are great!) and fit. They are a bit on the thinner side, which I honestly prefer. Keeps me cooler during the summer and is nice in cooler weather ! What can I say, Patagonia never fails!
The Capilene Daily suite of shirts is perfect for daily use and for hanging out in the sun. Very breathable and easy to care for. Shirts keep their shape very well.

Better than silk
I have a few short and long sleeves with the same material, simply the best!

By far, the best shirt out there. Hike, run, sleep, gym, at the bar with friends it is PERFECT! So soft and comfortable, consider sizing up, they shrink a bit. I got them in so many colors and prints and keep buying them
I am a 5'3" female who purchased this shirt because I like the message/graphic and it wasn't available in women's sizes. Im very disappointed with the fit of the latest colors that have been released this winter. The fit is very loose and sloppy. The neck line is too wide and the body of the shirt is too boxy. Cool and comfortable
This is my second long sleeved capilene from patagonia. I love the fit. It's very comfortable and very lightweight. Great shirt for fishing, hiking, or just casual.
I have worn these T's on two bicycle tours across the U.S. They keep the sun off your arms, and breath very well to keep you cool. They do not have spandex or lycra which gets hot and sticky. These T's wash out in a sink, and dry in minutes. Perfect tool for travel on the bike or backpacking
I am female and by the mens shirts because they fit better as I have a long torso and long arms. These shirts are very soft and are a great first layer on cold runs. I also love sleeping in them as they dry fast and it makes night sweats more bearable.

A great shirt I have been wearing around the desert for some months now. Its the only shirt I wear without sunscreen and it does keep me more cool and less sunscreen tacky hiking around in 100 degree weather. It has also recently been serving as a great base layer that keeps me warm and skin dry when hiking in below zero weather. A twofer shirt.
At 5'7 and 160 lbs I felt the sizing (Medium) was spot on. Shirt is super comfortable and I appreciate that you can dress up/down for a variety of occassions. Put on some athletic pants/shorts and you're good for a light workout/hike. A jacket, black jeans and some nice sneakers and you're good for a casual date/meet up.
