I ordered the long cardigan for my wife (5'4"). She's medium everywhere but has broad shoulders so I went with large. She probably would have kept it if the pockets didn't hang 4 inches lower than her hands. Exchanging for a medium and hoping for a good fit.
I love the fact that the cashmere is recycled, and you could never tell by the quality of the sweater. Its warm, and roomy enough for layers. I just wish is that the pockets would go away and that it wasn't quite so thick. Makes it look a little frumpy tbh. Also, you can't really use pockets in cashmere because it will stretch. Dont get me wrong, Im keeping it for those times I need a super warm layer, and will happily wear it for casual. It would be nice if it had a bit more range is all.
This sweater is perfect to throw on with leggings. You can dress it up or down. Either way, it's as comfy as a bathrobe. Definitely runs large. I usually wear a medium in Patagonia but bought the small (both colors) and the fit is great. Love them both!
What I love about this sweater is it is not only warm it is versatile. I wear it dressed up or down, as an outdoor sweater coat or a robe. Its light weight and cozy. I had a friend try it on and she loved so much she bought one. Oh yeah and I bought one for my mom and she loves it too!
Tried on in-store while on sale, and decided to get it. Surprisingly elegant, perfect dark grey color, cozy and easy-wear. I'm 5'3, and the cardigan runs a bit long (to the calf) but is acceptable. Recommended to try!

I am Super casual. I read the reviews for this sweater and most said it runs slightly large. I got the xs. Its beautiful, slightly thicker than I expected. Great quality and dressed up from what I normally wear but still feeIs like me.
I chose to get an XL because I wanted it to be too big, loose, and comfy. And that's exactly what I got. I wanted to wear it as a sort of bathrobe and it works great as that. If I had wanted to wear it out in public I would have gotten the "correct" size for me.

The shoulders have a nice true to form fit, and the longer length flows down the body nicely. It is soft, and you can feel the quality of the fabric, making it a very special sweater. Like wearing a soft warm blanket. Not at all scratchy. I have not taken it off since I got it. I work at home, and this looks a lot better than a bathrobe! Looks very cute as well. I hope Patagonia makes more recycled cashmere sweaters next season!
Picked this up on a lark at the Patagonia Great Pacific Iron Works when visiting Ventura in December. Tossed it in the washer on the delicate cycle with a tiny bit of detergent and just a dab of fabric softener and it's actually SOFTER than when I bought it! And it kept shape perfectly. Magic.
I purchased for my daughter and she loves this sweater. It can dress up a pair of pants for work or date night or top yoga pants. The cashmere is very soft but has 'body'. After reading other reviews re: fit, I ordered xs. She's 5'9 and slim- the xs was perfect.

Beautiful cardigan feels like a cozy blanket
Comfortable and versatile! I sized up for a flowy fit. Looks great over yoga clothes after a class or a dress for a night out!
My husband purchased this for our seventh anniversary (wool) and I fell in love the first time I put it on. This wool is butter soft and the perfect warmth. The tan color goes with everything and you can put it over a work outfit and still look fancy even though you are wearing a warm blanket!
I tried the M at Patagonia store and it seemed a little too baggy for my taste. Store didn't have S to test so I ordered online I have to say it fits better. I like the more loose fitting look but in my regular size (M) it felt like I was being smothered by the cardigan. Nice material so I am pleased with the purchase.
Actually I bought this for my daughter, she really wanted warm white color but you didnt have that to choose from. But I got it anyway. Upon opening the box my daughter was disappointed and wanted to send it back. Butafter a few days, she ran out and put the sweater on. She fell in love with it. Often times we FaceTime and shes wearing the sweater!... Read More! She loves it. Thank you for having great products that we love.

Like a blanket
This sweater is the perfect wardrobe staple when you want to wear a blanket but you don't want to look like you're wearing a blanket. I was lucky to find it on sale in the spring and will be wearing it all the time in cooler months. I do wish it had the option of belt loops and a belt but it drapes beautifully.
I love this sweater. I bought it to be loose because I wanted to make sure it would easily fit over long sleeve layers which it totally does. Extremely comfortable, soft and snuggly. Great to wear over legging because long length covers the booty of an older woman and it's stylish enough that I look more dressed up than I would in a more sweat... This is one of the best sweaters I have purchased from Patagonia. I wear to the office and I love it because it is light and warm. I purchased the tan color and I am waiting for the dark gray to on sale.
I am a petite person and this sweater didn't work for me. It was too long and overall didn't look good for my frame. I looked like a wizard, which was not the look I was going for.

A Chic Wubby
This sweater has been such a comfort! Just the right amount of warmth and weight to elicit that ahh feeling every time I put it on. I debated between the M and L sizes, but for my thinner frame, the M looks better when I where it out. The sweater stretched a little so it was a good call. Enjoy!

Gift for my wife, She won't take it off. Very high quality.
I LOVE this piece. I purchased in both colorways because the fit is phenomenal. It does run a little big, so I sized down, but the way the fabric hangs and the way the pockets are constructed make this sweater look clean and comfortable all day long. As expected for recycled cashmere there is some slight pilling (in all the expected spots), but nothing that can't be managed with a pilling stone. This does run very warm. It was great for San Francisco weather, but may be a little toasty for a warm Ventura Day. I will definitely take this with me back to the East Coast for the Holidays to be chic & warm.
I just received the recycled cashmere long cardigan in charcoal color, XS, true to size with enough room to layer. It's beautiful, well made and a classic wardrobe item that I will wear 3 seasons of the year. I highly recommend.
