I am 5 feet 4inches, 105lbs. I am also a female who prefers no frills clothing. For that reason, finding clothes that I like and that fit well is extremely difficult. These pants fit great and are extremely comfortable. I wore them on a long distance Amtrak ride (sleeping in the seat for two nights) and they still looked good when the trip was over... Read More.
Flying pants. Thats what I wanted. Pants to sit on a plane. These are perfect for just sitting in one position for what seems forever. Im sure they would work for other pursuits as well. I like that they tuck into snow boots. I used these with thermals as my go to nighttime ski resort pants. They are so nice. My new favorites.
The fabric is the perfect amount of stretch, feel, and look (cotton so it's not shiny or anything). The fit around the waist is true to size and fits well, and the drawstring works fine to avoid needing a belt. I like the look overall. The crotch gusset is a wonderful feature so I can sit however I want and be comfortable. I appreciate having ... Read Morethe half-elasticized ankle cuffs. Only complaint is that I wish these were about half to one inch longer.
I've tried joggers from several brands, and always found them to have fit problems. They were either too tight, or had poor mobility and design.

Read More at a glance. The sidepocket looks nice - it holds a phone or passport. The waist and crotch are very comfortable - I have no problem sitting in these for several hours on a flight. The material feels durable, and looks like a classic camping pant. It reminds me a little of my old boy scout uniform, which is kind of fun. Stylistically it's a good balance between classic looks, and modern construction and fit. They're casual, but subtle enough about it that you can wear them almost everywhere. I have 2 pairs now, and would consider getting more if they release a version in a darker brown or sage khaki.
I got these for my boyfriend to wear for work and he loves them so much, I ordered two more pairs for him! He loves the amount of pockets and the fit. He's a petite guy and finding the right sizing for pants can be a challenge, but XS was perfect for him.
Great quality, but runs 1.5 inches longer and a bit baggy for my liking
I really like the quality of the materials and make, and the fabric is very sturdy and stretchy. But the only two issues I have with this trousers is that it's too long that I have to fold the bottom twice for it to fit perfectly, length-wise. Also, if you don't mind baggy style, then these trousers are for you!

Waist is about right but
Waist is about right but length is too long. Bought 2 pairs. Mistake. Your sizing is off. Same thing happened with jacket i recently bought. Patagonia is not making me happy these days too much aggravation.
Hello Howard, thank you for leaving us a review. We're very sorry to hear of the frustrations, the inseam on these pants range from 29"-31" depending on size. Nicely Made
I did not keep these pants. It is truly a small. The waist did not fit my 32 waist and felt tight through the legs. Maybe a medium would work but the material is heavy weight. I would not recommend for a warm climate.
I was looking for a pair of pants I could go out on a date or meet up with friends at the bar/restaurant with. Almost great, would like it if these had a little more taper and a full elasticized cuff. The half and half thing is a little weird. Really into the DWR coating, pleasantly surprised when I was caught in some misty rain. I'm 5'10.5" with a ~32 inseam and these fit pretty well, if a little loose, but they're not bulky.
I balked at the price, but these pants were 100% worth it. Worn them all over Italy and really beat them up. They are still perfect! Plan to buy a few more now.
I really like the concept of these pants. Hybrid khakis/sweatpants. Futuristic.
They look good in public, and are comfortable.
Wish there were belt loops.
Haven't washed them yet, but worried they will shrink, given the fabric makeup...
Definitely a style Patagonia should explore with different fabrics, features.
Fits great, material has help up the past 3+ months, and the drawstrings integrated with the button at the waist works well. I like how the bottom taper in the back but stay relaxed in the front. Overall my favorite pants I own.
Grateful for slim fitting Patagonia pants, and would like this to continue
I appreciate a pair of pants from Patagonia that don't looks like another pair of boring "dad pants". The 29" inseam is short and reduces the versatility of the pant, but otherwise this is a go-to for my work wardrobe.
Great fit and the pants are flexible during strenuous hikes. I love these pants for casual wear too. Great product! I cannot wait to get additional colors.
Was really looking forward to these. Bought a pair in each color in size S based on other Patagonia gear I own and the measurements in the size chart, but the waist was too tight. Considered exchanging for medium, but the length was going to be too long.
Really liked the look and feel of the pants, but had to return due to size issues.
These heavy duty pants are at home in the pub, cutting 5 cords of wood, or out on the crag. Upon further review...
I got a pair of Mediums in 8-22, then wrote a snarky review about the size. I returned them for Large, but never re-reviewed.
So, here; I LOVE THEM, I just ordered two more pairs.
Super comfortable, movable, and my GF likes how they look.
Get some.
My husband loves these pants and wishes they had a belt loop (for his keys)- if they did he probably would never take them off. Great quality, comfort and fit.
I decided to just give these a try in a search for some new casual pants. In just two weeks these have become my new favorite weekend or work from home pants. Love these pants. I bought them big cause I hate tight cloths. These things are super comfy and great for all outdoor adventures. They are a tough blend and will stand up to what you can throw at them.
I adore these pants. Bought a second pair. My ONLY feedback would be I wish they were a barely tougher material. Ive worn mine consistently for several months and Im beginning to see some wear on the cuffs and the side pocket. The side pocket I could probably do without.
Im 61, 172lbs with a 32 inseam and the medium could be a bit longer but outside of that, this jogger/khaki combo delivers on comfort and style. Theyre so easy to wear! Love the side pocket too
This is my second pair of these travel pants. I asked for them for Christmas because the tan ones I got last year are so useful and I wanted another color. Got these for something casual but nice to wear while around town. They did shrink a bit in the wash, so I'm glad I sized up rather than going for exactly-perfect -- now they fit great.
I did not like the fit with the jogger style hems. I Wish Patagonia would bring back the z pant with the adjustable ankle which make the pant so versatile
These pants get used on trips to and from beach after surfs or paddling in winter weather. They are easy on and off, but do take a little breaking in to loosen up. These are great pants, I wear them for a couple days at a time and they are super durable and comfortable. I am a 30 waist and the small fits me just about right, so I guess Id suggest if anything they run small, but mostly they fit like expected.
I love these pants and have worn them daily since getting them a month ago. The fabric is easy to clean and doesn't attract pet hairs. I purchased these for my husband and after a few wears received a thumbs up. The length is good as is the overall sizing. They have washed well and I expect he will wear them for years.
The material is a lot more heavier than I thought it would be. The fit is kind of baggy for me but these are going to wear like iron. Im a very fit/skinny 5,9 155 LB. I wear them on walks and yoga or long trips. They have just enough pocket space and like I said before, they are made from a very tough fabric. I like them.
I run between medium or large with Patagonia,
Capilene medium, Torentshell large, Nanopuff medium. At 5-10, 175, 60yo and reasonably fit, the mediums are way too tight in the waist and crotch. Stylish
Im tall and slim (64 and about 170lbs) and the Medium fits me great! I originally bought Large but they felt like parachute pants

Super comfortable, and I like I can wear em for lounging, or working in the garden to the bar, all with style!
Looking forward to wearing this on my vacay!!
Cheers
I have been searching for a comfortable casual pants for both indoor and outdoor settings for a long time to no avail. These pants are great! They fit well and work for a business/casual kind of look. I wear them with the capeilene daily polo and they look great together. They are sort of a cross between khakis and joggers. Would recommend!
I had to return these pants because they were to short for me. I'm a skinny 6' 4", 160lb and the inseam length seemed to be a regular size. I bought the green color on a whim while I was in NYC.

Great fit for a slim build. Quality fabric. No belt needed. Would like to see a bit of a taper down the leg in the next version, but otherwise nearly perfect.
These were even better than I expected. The fabric weight is substantial--not too heavy, but excellent for working outdoors and for hiking, fishing, and biking. These are now my favorite pants and I will be buying them in other colors as well.
I really want to like these pants. Material is great. The design is pretty neat, but they fit awkwardly. Winner!
Ive been trying to find a pair of pants like this and every other brand is too skinny. These pants fit wellmaybe slightly short but Im tall. Not too slim in the leg. Im already thinking about a second pair.
I usually wear 32 x 32 size pant, this medium one fits very well and wear comfort. it's slightly fit at ankle but not tight. Recommend for three-season wearing.
I wear these pants mostly in a casual setting. I'm 6'1, 200 and like my pants a little looser fitting so I bought the XL; you may like L

I love these pants, they are super comfy and breathable. The roominess is nice, but these are way to baggy to be a slimfit in my opinion. Still a great pair of pants, especially if you need freedom of motion.
Very happy with the blend of natural and synthetic materials. Has a very modern fit that is stylish and practical. Easy to care for and easy to wear. Should be a Patagonia classic in no time.
