Alaska Needs You
More mining and drilling in America's Arctic will push us away from a livable Earth and further into climate chaos. Right now, you can help protect our climate, local communities and biodiversity by asking our government to stop extraction in three areas under threat in Alaska.

Bought this for my godson who is a true 18mos size. The quality is great and perfect for playing in the snow but the sizing is way off...SIZE DOWN!!!! Even with layers of clothes underneath, the snow suit is far too big.
Hi Jackie, thank you for your review of the Infant Hi-Loft Down Sweater Bunting! We're glad to hear that the quality of the snow suit is great and perfect for playing in the snow. We appreciate your feedback regarding the sizing and will make sure to take it into consideration for future improvements.
i got a 0-3 month for my 2 month old last year and it was huge. it fits 9-12mo... unfortunate, because it is a great item. super warm and nicely made. i would've used it this year, but my baby is over a year and it's too small now :(
Hello Julia, thank you for your review of the Infant Hi-Loft Down Sweater Bunting. We are sorry the sizing didn't work out for your little one. You are always welcome to trade-in lightly used gear you no longer need to our [Worn Wear](https://wornwear.patagonia.com/) site for credit!
I should have listened to the other reviews about it being large but thought my baby may be on the bigger size. For reference, shes 25.5in long and 17.5lbs. Bc its only November I thought Id get the 6-12mo size (shes currently 5 months old). She is absolutely swimming in it. I think theres roughly 5in extra in leg room, her feet hardly even make it... Read More to the leg sleeves. Im returning it for the 3-6 mo size and hopefully that will fit her through the winter. The suit is veryyy light. Im hoping that it will be warm enough for cold Maine winter temps.
Best Snowsuit EVER!
This onesie is the best for your new bundles. It's so cozy, easy to get on and off and super warm. Our babe lives in it all winter! Much like some of the other reviews, it does run really big. The NB size tends to fit up to 3-5 months in our experience and the 3-6 we have fits our 10 month old. It's awesome and has room to grow but know i... Read Moret will be roomy (very) upon purchase.
Big Bunting but AWESOME
Purcahsed the 12-18mo bunting for my 98%tile for height baby boy and it was ridiculously large. I exchanged for the 6-12mo and it is still large with some room for growth. I love that there is no longer fur (gets dirty matted easily in the hood). He wears this daily on cooler fall/winter morning walks (we live in North Carolina) and we will be taki... Just ordered the newborn size (because it was on sale!) but was worried my daughter would soon outgrow it. I shouldn't have worried--the newborn size is honestly a normal 3-6 month size. Maybe even a 6-9 month. Whoever thinks this size will fit a 7 lb baby has never--and I mean never--actually held a newborn baby. I took a picture to add to th... Read Moreis review, but it doesn't look like the website allows it. Suffice it to say that the arms and legs extend about 6 inches past the limbs of my very average sized 8lb newborn. I think she'd start to really fit it around 6 months.
Hey Katie, thanks for the review. We're sorry to hear that this ran so big! You can start an free exchange for a size down [here](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html). Please reach out if you have additional questions about sizing, we have access to garment measurements that we'd be happy to send your way.
second one purchased
this bunting is absolutely perfect. The 6-12 month size fit our grandson (born at the end of July) throughout his first winter. It was great for being in a front pack or a jog stroller. It will be passed down to future grandchildren (it is still in amazing condition) so we bought another as a gift for another summer baby
BEST baby/toddler snowsuit around!
PLEASE make these in larger sizes... as a mom of two under the age of 3 who lives in one of the coldest places in the US, this suit is a game changer for us. It allows us to actually GET OUTSIDE and I cant tell you what that means for the wellbeing of my child and frankly, for me. It not only keeps our kids super warm, it is incredibly easy to get ... Read Moreon and off. My favorite feature --"hands down"-- is the hand flaps to keep your kids hands warm. If you have ever tried to keep mittens on a two year old in 15 degree weather, good luck. The warmest snowsuit out there
We live in MN. The winters are long and cold and this snowsuit allowed us to take kids out so we can all enjoy the winter activities we love doing. We had one that lasted our older two boys two seasons each. We needed a smaller one for our 3rd child and immediately knew we needed this brand again. We bought snowsuits in a different brand and the zi... Read Morepper broke after 1.5 years of use (they dont repair). I love buying Patagonia knowing it will last through 3 kids.
Warm, very light, easy to get on/off
Bought this because another brand with synthetic fill didn't keep his hands or feet warm during daily walks in the PNW at 45° or below. This bunting is easy to get a wiggly baby in and out, is cozy but very light, and keeps him warm but not hot (not sweaty). Bought it way too big to last another winter and even at twice his current size it wor... I would remove for longer car rides to ensure maximum car seat strap safety). Appreciate that the hood is large and insulated, we skip a hat unless very chilly.
Runs very large.
My daughter usually wear 18-24 months therefore I purchased that size. It was so big I ended up buying another suit size 6-12 months which was the perfect fit for her. I had to go 2 sizes down for the correct fit. I recommend that you purchase a size down even 2 sizes down like I did.
Flexible and warm!
I purchased 18-24 month for my 14 month old daughter. Yes it is slightly big now, however she will still be able to fit it next winter as well. I love that it keeps her very toasty without being bulky or too thick. She can walk and move with ease. After learning more about the company, I purchased some other winter items for the whole family and gl... Read Moread I did. I will be switching from other big name brands to Patagonia.
Quality, but runs big
Exactly what we needed for winters in the mountains. Temps hover between a high of 20 and low of 0. This Lets us wrap our daughter up easily and quickly for short outings or the key piece for long outings. Shes 9 months, when we got it I thought about returning as its 3x too big for her. But then we rolled the sleeves and legs up. It actually wor... Read Moreks really well so we think we can get two winters out of this. And on cold long outings we can roll the sleeves/legs down for total coverage. Kids sizing is all over the map, just glad this worked in our favor for (hopefully) two seasons.
Color is lovely. Love the zips for easy take on, take off and diaper changes. Not bulky at all so will fit nicely under safety straps in the carseat and stroller. It feels just like my own patagonia down coats that I depend on every winter. The only problem was that it was way way too big. My granddaughter is on the small side and barely a year so ... Love it but it runs huge!
I have purchased a few Patagonia items for my kids and they all fit perfect, but this runs pretty big. Rus Very Large
As many have said before, this item runs extremely large. For point of reference our child is now nine months old, weighs 22 pounds, and is 28 inches in height. He currently fits in the 3 to 6 month size. It likely will not last us the whole winter but will still probably get us to his first birthday in December. Hope this helps, still really love ...
