comfy, cozy, keeps my grand baby warm...and the down jacket is simply great looking
everything about this jacket is positive; it is going to be worn by each of my grandbabies as the first outgrows it and the next grows into this size....all the Patagonia baby and toddler clothes look as good as new after years of wear
Our eighteen month old grandsons love these coats. They're easy to put on. They're very lightweight but warm. My only frustration is that you were out of the color of one twins current coat.
Hi Janet, we're so pleased to hear that your grandsons are enjoying the Patagonia Baby Hi-Loft Down Sweater Hoody. We'd be happy to try and help you find that out-of-stock color. We'll reach out to you privately with further assistance.

My Daughter loves her coat
I have three kids under five. And they all were Patagonia. They reach for their coats when its a cold blustery day outside and Im glad that they do. The product stands up extremely well with my very active kids!
I bought the 6 - 12 month purple jacket for a baby that was born this past February. She'll be able to wear it in the Rocky Mountains starting next fall. Not sure about the fit ; ), but looks like a generous cut, that she will be able to wear for quite a few months. Happy that there was a purple, instead of pink! Well made and super cute!
I purchased the grey hi-loft sweater hoody for my son and the color looks nothing like the picture. My jack I received is very glossy/shiny in comparison to the picture displayed which has almost no shine. I'm very disappointed.
We're sorry to hear the jacket in person was a disappointment, but we appreciate your feedback. Please reach out to our Customer Service team. We'll be glad to [help](https://help.patagonia.com/s/) you exchange or return it!

Happy, warm toddler during long days outside
Very warm and fits well. My toddler is 18 months and on the tall and skinny side. The 12-18 months jacket fits perfectly and should last until the end of this cold season.

I love that its not so bulky and it seems plenty cozy for her. Cute color!
This is our second one of these jackets! The first got passed down to our youngest. They keep them warm in our Minnesota winters and are worn from Oct to May, so the price point is worth it. The fabric is so soft and cozy! When its single digits we put wool coats over the top.

I purchased the plume gray for my toddler, he wears 3T in coats but 2T in most other clothes. Coat fits with a little room which I like. Only think I dont love is that the gray color is more of a blue gray and its pretty metallic-not terribly but the picture advertisement doesnt show that too well.
This coat is very warm and comfortable. My grandson is comfortable wearing it. It runs true to size. This coat is not bulky. There is nothing negative about this coat.

The perfect winter jacket for my 1 year old!
Love the color and fit. Very well made and she looks adorable in it. It keeps her warm and stylish!
I purchased this coat for my 1.5 year old daughter. She likely could have fit into the 12-18 month coat but I like that this one is a bit roomy and MIGHT get us another year out of it. I purchased the chicory red color which is really beautiful. I will definitely buy this jacket again when she needs a new one.
My sons favorite jacket. He spends a considerable time outside at preschool. This jacket is lightweight & warm. Perfect for cold fall days. With layers it is warm enough for dry Winter days as well.
My 2 year old loves this jacket. I loved it, too, until we washed it. Weve been buying Patagonia coats for our boys since the age of 1 because of the warmth the down coats provide. The coats fit our tall skinny kids well and are very durable where they are passed down to other boys.
I bought my first Patagonia Baby hi-loft for our grandson when he was 1 years old. It was a great coat for 2 years. Light and easy to get on. I bought this next one and the same things are true. I have bought this jacket for my kids in the past and the one I just received is nothing like the other ones. They must be skimping on the down filling because it is very thin. It is normally much puffier and heavier, this one doesnt seem like it will even keep my child warm in the cold Minnesota winter. Very disappointed and will be returning.
Hey Bridget, thanks for the review. We're sorry to hear of your disappointment with the thickness of the Hi-Loft Down Sweater Hoody. We double checked our records to see if there have been any changes in down weight but we weren't able to find anything, it's always been about 82 g's of down. In fact, we've actually upgraded the fill power from 600 to 700, so it's warmer now than past iterations. With that said, your satisfaction is always our number one priority, so we'd be glad to accept a return. A warmer option would be our [Baby Recycled Hi-Loft Parka](https://www.patagonia.com/product/baby-recycled-hi-loft-down-parka/60485.html?dwvar_60485_color=FRYT), which comes in at 100 g's of 700 fill power down.

Best kids jacket
Love this jacket. We just got hit with 20 inches of snow today and my little guy was as warm as can be. He just grew out of of 6-12 month jacket at 2 years old and I expect the 2T will last 2 seasons.

Providing additional down so as to be a true puffer jacket would be beneficial for toddlers that live in climates that reach highs of 47F during day and lows of 30F in evening. Brighter colors perhaps in primary colors are also favs. The addition of the attached hood is awesome.
This parka is perfect for an active 3 year old: warm, great hood, good pockets and excellent zippers. My granddaughter loves it and so too does her mom.
My granddaughter had been wearing this jacket since her first winter (she is 3 y.o. So that means 3 jackets). We dont even look for other jackets for her, simply order one from Patagonia every time. We trust this company to provide an awesome product.
Someone had given us a 12 month size for my grandson and he has been wearing it all winter (he's 17 months now). It's easy to put on and keeps him really warm as he runs around in the park in 35 degree weather. When I saw this on sale, I bought another one for next year!

Awesome coat
Awesome coat. Kids loves it. Sizing runs a little large and my child is petite. Just wish something was available to help cinch up the bottom part of the jacket that is kid safe. This is our second coat sized up from the previous 6-12mo size that she wore to till almost 3 years old
Overall great jacket, fits well for my 2.5 years old
I love this jacket, very warm and comfortable. It fits pretty well for my 2.5 years old, and will probably be good fit next winter as well.
The only issue was the color- it looks very different in reality than seen on the website. I really liked what looked like a dark red on the website, but it turned out to be a lot more pinkish..

So happy with this coat. It is a great weight for cold MN winters and is easily paired with snowpants if my toddler wants to romp outdoors more. I buy these coats every single year for my kids. They are so warm and cozy. They always come in new fun colors every year. Also having an attached hood is key.
I wanted a warm and practical jacket for the winter months in Chicago, my son can be outside and get on all the fun with this jacket without feeling constrained by the material. An added plus for us is how easy is to clean up after snack time, just wipe it down with some water. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants to be be worry free.
This coat is awesome; my young children love it b/c of the lightness (as far as weight) and the warmth. Some different colors and a mixture of colors would be even better.

It does run a bit big. My son is small, but he is 19 months and the 12-18 is good on him but has room for growth over the long Chicago winter.
