Really love this coat for my daughter. We ordered a 2T and my daughter is 2 1/2. The coat a bit big, but the quality is great so we love that shell be able to wear it for quite awhile. Its an easy, lightweight coat to throw on. We got the leaf pattern and we really like that too. Wed order this again.
Having just outgrown her brother's hand-me-down, this jacket is a timely fix! Fits her perfectly now (12 months) with some room to grow. Perfect for outdoor activity - great mobility, warm but not overheating. Great color choice. Expect to pass it on to others after she outgrows.

Our 2nd one! My large 16mo is still fitting the 6-12 month through the summer. It has been 40F at night so this is great for cool mornings and under the car seat since it squooshes flat. The material is also easy to wipe clean and has held up wonderfully. I will definitely be getting more when my kids outgrow them.
Love these down sweaters as baby gifts as they run a little generous so baby can wear longer. Just roll up sleeves if its big. I would suggest only that Patagonia come up with some prettier colors for girls. Just purchased 4 for baby gifts. Made very well

Bought this, our 3rd Baby down jacket, for our youngest. Its very cute! My child is 3, but he is big! We have the 5T for a 3 YO (40 lbs). Warm, washable and not to bulky which is important for a toddler! Id highly recommend!
I purchased 4 of these baby down sweaters as baby gifts. The boys colors are great. However, I think you could do much better on the girls colors. The $99.00 value is a bit pricy but I got them on sale. A better price value for me.

It keeps him very warm and fits true to size with room for a sweatshirt underneath. He has spilled food on it and I havent tried to clean it yet, so not sure about that aspect.

My daughter is usually a 5T. The 5T fit her fine and had a little room to grow but since we wanted this jacket for under her snowboard and rain coats for warmth we went with a 4T which fits just a bit more snug (without being too small) so it’s more comfortable as a layer. I’d say my daughter is average size for a 5 year old
The sizing is big I ordered a 2t for my son that is 2-1/2 and it’s very big on him but I already took the tags off to be able to exchange. Hopefully it will fit next year .

Great coat for 60’s - high 40’s. anything colder we use a bigger coat. Also runs HUGE. My 2yr fits in the 12-18m jacket and there’s still plenty of room.
We bought this coat to make our daily winter commute in the car seat much easier. It keeps our little one warm during our MN winters and is thin enough to keep on while in the car seat. It was spendy but well worth it to avoid the daily hassle we'd have with other winter coats.
This is a great coat for kids. This is the third winter we've purchased this coat for our 3 year old. I know you aren't technically supposed to wear with carseats but it is so thin that you can. Super warm and practical. Also holds up really nice so his little brother will get great use out of it too :)

Runs large, as we've found most Patagonia to do for us. Our kids are petite but both wore the 3-6mo size jacket until 16/18 months old! While wearing other brand 12-18mo. I really can’t ever say anything bad about a Patagonia product, and this is just the same. I bought big to try to get a couple seasons out of it, and knowing the quality I know it’ll last through any rough and tumble kid wear!

I bring this up because the older jackets have small metal zippers that are very hard for toddlers to do by themselves. The newer jackets from the past couple years have chunky plastic zippers that are much more kid-friendly -- it makes my life so much easier to hear "I do it I did it I do it I did it!" which means I don't have to help dress them. Bravo for these new zippers!
