Color and fabric
Campfire orange looks in real not like orange, instead like a neon coral, and the fabric is so translucent that it looks dirty through the feathers below. So disappointed
Thanks for the review, Leonard. We're sorry to hear of the disappointment in the color Campfire Orange. If you still like the product but just want a different color, you can begin the exchange process on [this page](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html). Otherwise, you're also welcome to return for a merchandise credit or refund.
Light Weight/Esay to Pack
I had bought size 2T jacket for the twins and now a 3T jacket for my two year old boy-girl twins. I went with navy blue color either child could wear it. Suggest dark colors (dark green or navy blue) as the lighter colors last year one jacket stained and could not get it out. zippers are easy to use, no hood on this style.
My daughter loves it
Its cute and shes warm in it! You are able to see some of the feathers on the lightest pink color. Thats the only downfall but its still a really cute jacket. My daughter is very very tall for her age, shes only three years old, but this size works great for her. Love the zipper pockets
Warm without the bulk
We love these coats for our little kids because they seem to be warm enough, but aren't too bulky that it prevents them from getting in cars, stroller, etc. The only issue I have with the latest version is the lack of a coat hook at the neck - just wonder why Patagonia removed it.
I was so excited to get this jacket for our daughter, its super cute and looks great on her but the feathers are popping out everywhere and shes only had it a week. Very disappointing. Ill think twice before I buy her another one.
Hi Lori! Thank you for writing us a review on the Baby Down Sweater. It is completely natural for some of the down and feathers to escape through the fabric, particularly in the seams. It is normal for this to happen, particularly in newer products when the down has not had an opportunity to settle. There is no reason for alarm, and this phenomenon should not affect the performance of your jacket. In rare cases, a material defect may cause excessive down leakage in a product in which case you're welcome to [return](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html).
Keeps my kid warm and looks good too.
We have faced about every possible kind of weather in northern ca this year and this jacket has been fantastic. Kid wears it almost everyday. Its not great in the rain but its water resistant enough to get him out of the car or two the store. Large enough for him to layer items over or underneath if really cold. Love the striped pattern too.
Great for my preschooler
I bought the red for my 5 yo daughter and just love the floral lining on the inside. My 8 yo son has the red in the kids small. I love that they match. These no longer have the loop inside to hang up but I have a hack! I looped a ribbon inside the tag and now my kids can hang theirs up again. I would prefer Patagonia to bring back a real loop becau... Read Morese my DIY version has a knot in it that can be uncomfortable but luckily my kids haven't complained!
Great, but no loop!
My son and daughter have been wearing these as their casual winter coats (running errands, going to and from places) for four years now. It's great! The only downside is that the new version doesnt have a loop to hang the jacket from a hook! This is quite the inconvenience because my two year old and four year old can easily hang the loop jack... Read Moreets, but have a hard time hanging up their jackets without loops. I ended up sewing loops onto them myself. I hope they add the loops back on in the future!

Great For Car seats
This is our third kid and about 12th Patagonia baby down. They are the perfect warmth for fluctuating weather. Worked great in Illinois and Arkansas. Best of all, the kiddos can keep them on and still be safe in a car seat. One critique of this specific purchase is the name of the color. Its purple and in no way is it pink (according to a 3 year ... Read Moreold). Still a great color and coat.
This is our latest in a very long line of kid down sweaters. It is just as fantastic as all the rest. Love, love, love that there are patches included!!! Amazing!! Now the downside.. There is no hanging loop inside!!! Granted, I more often than not find the jacket tossed willy-nilly on the floor. However I am a stickler for hung up coats. As are p... Read Morereschools.. Please return the hanging loop!!!!
My two daughters and son all got new jackets for the school year. We sent last years jackets to Worn Wear, and used those funds to acquire these. Great experience with that, the fit is great and I love how intelligent and positively impactful my children are, and look. We wash these costs regularly and they hold up to the rest of weather and fashio... Read Moren - top notch
The new style runs small
I have an old style down sweater for my son in size 4T that's almost the same size as their new style in 5T when I compared it. There's only one layer difference from top to bottom but the rest-arm length, body width are all the same which I think is a waste of money and I should just go size up to XS instead. I got the cabin gold color a... Read Morend it is gorgeous in person. It's the perfect shade of yellow that I like. Too bad they don't have this color in boy sizes.
We're sorry for any disappointment in the revised design for 2022. We added a few features, switched to recycled nylon fabric, and included repair patches. Please reach out to our [Customer Service team](https://help.patagonia.com/s/) if you'd like to return it. We'll be happy to help!
Bought tis for my 7 month old grandson - originally ordered the 6-12 month size which was really big, returned and ordered the 3-6 mos. size and it is perfect! Colors are exactly as shown online, jacket is well-made and so darn cute! My return/refund was processed and received quickly as was the product itself. Very happy with this purchase.
Bought for my almost 1 year old. This would be a cute jacket but you can see the dark grey down filling through the pink fabric. I returned - too much for a baby jacket to see the filling.
Hey Kelly, thank you for the review. This product uses duck and goose down reclaimed from down products, so there is some fluctuation in the color of the down filling. We're sorry to hear that you ultimately weren't satisfied. You're welcome to check out the darker color options we have available or you can check out our [Worn Wear website](https://wornwear.patagonia.com/shop/search?q=down%20sweater) for lightly used discounted versions from past seasons.
