My son has fair skin (including his blonde scalp) and this shirt we have owned one in each size from 3T to 5T. Read Moreange I would ask for is to bring back that saffron color! it was so easy to spot and good for pool visibility. Even though he is really rough on clothes, it has stayed in good enough condition that we hand it down to friends when he outgrows it.
We have one of these from last season and just grabbed another for our 2 year old this season and the hood is much improved! Its much more of a scuba style hood and not only does it stay on way better, it provides full protection to the neck and chest area. We just grabbed two more to have on hand! Also excellent for hiking when baby is in the back pack or any time UPF protection is needed!
Our 1yo loves the beach but absolutely will not keep a hat on (and his head sunburns easily through is fairly thin hair). It was to the point where we almost couldn't go to the beach anymore. This hoodie solved the problem! The hood doesn't bother him, he leaves it on all day, no sunburns, and plenty of fun!
My daughter wears this in the pool and absolutely loves it; it is a great cover to prevent sunburns, and dries very quickly. She also has been wearing it around the house. Couldnt ask for much, other than a cheaper price!
I wish I had realized before ordering that these are completely different from previous ones Ive gotten! They changed the fabric, cut and sizing from the original capilene cool hoody.
