While the body of this kids coat fits great, the arms are too short. Found this with another coat here at Patagonia this season. Probably due to being between being a kid and being an adult.

I bought a better sweater for each of my two daughters and I don't think they've taken them off since. I have trouble finding a time that they're not in use so I can wash them. Perfect layer for active older kids!
Go to jacket for my 11 year old daughter year round. Layered in the Winter. Indoors in the Winter. Spring, Summer, Fall, super solid. So yeah, she forgot to pack her rain jacket for an overnight tour in the Unita's of UT...afternoon rains. This jacket actually kept her warm and dry! Excellent and highly recommend.
