Because this seems to be considered a fishing pant, it flys a bit under the radar. I found them almost by accident and they are one of my most worn items. Perfect comfy pant for those in between days. As a runner, I also find these great to pull over shorts or leggings pre or post run.

I'm shaped like a coke can instead of a coke bottle, but these pants aren't too tight in the waist. They stretch well (in fact I have to hike them up sometimes) and dry fast. Wear everyday so don't know how they wash yet--and they don't look all that dirty, even tho they've been through alot. Love these pants.

Comfortable and lightweight
Perfect for traveling and hiking during the hot and humid weather. The fabric is exactly what I was looking for.
I'm 5'7" and about 130 lbs and shaped more like a boy than a woman--no hips, no coke bottle waist. These pants are rare in that they don't squeeze my tummy at all. Incredible comfort, so much that I forget I am wearing pants. They do tend to stretch out, though, so by the end of the day, they creep down my hips and butt and have... I love everything about these pants/joggers. They are comfy and flattering as well as high quality. The blue color can go almost anywhere in the summertime. I plan to wear these when traveling and hiking this summer. I wish they made more colors than the blue and the grey because I would definitely buy them!
I really appreciate the length of these joggers and the back pockets. I'm petite 5 ft so I love that feature. I think the waistband is way too high up on the waist. They seem like a good choice for maternity pants. They are stretchy but material is too thin and the high waistband makes them uncomfortable and constricting. Returning these.

Awesome pants
I wasn't super happy with the new Happy Hike pants, so I gave these a try. Overall they're awesome. What's good - comfy and very stretchy. Big pockets. The belt loops are cool. Fabric is light and seems tough. What's bad - the little internal waist tie seems pretty useless. The sizing is weird. I'm 5ft5in 135lbs with 38in h... Read Moreips and typically wear S bottoms, sometimes M. The S is baggy throughout. The XS fits more like the model pics (in grey), but is kinda tight on my butt. They do stretch with wear, though. My only suggestions for the next version would be adjusting the sizing down by about a quarter- or half-size and maybe making the front part of the leg cuffs smooth (like the old Happy Hikes) for a more polished look.
I was worried about ordering pants online but it was a great deal. I'm so happy that I chanced it! These fit so well and are exactly what I was looking for. I'm tempted to order more pairs.
I originally purchased the L as Im all about comfort - too baggy. But the M is perfect - the stretch is amazing and holds its shape. I love the classic look. Ive ordered another pair and wish it came in additional colors!!
I expect to put a lot of miles on these, they're lightweight and so comfortable. The cut is in that goldilocks zone of not tight/not too loose and the waistband (!) is hands down the best feature - no buttons or zippers to deal with (just an internal drawstring, if needed), so no digging or discomfort where the pack rests or from the pant wais... These run big, but the style is perfect for a casual Friday with a button-down shirt or a weekend hike. They're light weight and perfect for me here in Las Vegas.

I am a huge fan of these joggers and have purchased several pairs. I've put them to the test in the tropics and they've been great for sun protection. They're lightweight and a good length for me at 5'9. I also like that there are not a lot of buttons or zippers for fly line to get stuck on.

I usually wear a medium in pretty much everything, but I chose the small size in these since everyone reviewed them as running large. The smalls fit me perfectly, so definitely order a size down.
I was so excited to see Patagonia making a super light weight, quick drying pant for saltwater fly fishing especially one with elastic ankles. Unfortunately these pants run big in the waist and butt and the XS is sold out.
Love these pants! I use them mainly for fly fishing and travel. They are super lightweight, dry quickly and are very comfortable. They pack down really small for traveling.
These pants were too big, too long, and material too thin. I was looking for a pair of pants for casual wear and these did not fit the bill. I probably did not read the description correctly

Light but sturdy
Love the non-binding stretchy top of pants. Cool enough to wear in summer and fabric is strong enough to handle hiking in the Northwoods.

Read Moreinitially ordered a large as recommend by the Patagonia size finder but they were waaaay too big. The medium fit perfectly (I wear a standard 8-10). I cannot recommend them highly enough!
The style of these pants is great. The wide waistband, light material, and easy-access pockets make them excellent for travel and hiking on hot days. BUT, don't get dirty or catch a rough corner.
I recently wore these during a 5 day trip in Denali National Park. They got the usual trail dirt on the legs, a few streaks of wet dirt from brushin... Read Moreg through thigh-high bushes, and a little dust on the seat from sitting on rocks at lunchtime.
NONE of the dirt stains came off after the first washing (normal washing in a machine, warm water temp, average detergent, regular cycle). Aside from smelling clean, you wouldn't know they've been washed by looking at them. I ordered the light grey color specifically for wearing in buggy areas. While it's easy to spot ticks on them, getting them clean is proving to be a chore.
They're also a bit short from the knee down. I'm 5'7 and while the waist to seat length of the small fits well, when I sit down, they become high-waters - not great for mosquito season.
I'm a little concerned with the overall fabric durability too. While they haven't ripped yet, even with bushwhack hiking, they did get a couple of snags in the nylon and the area around the knees is getting fuzzy.
These are a good attempt at replacing the Baggies pants but miss the mark. Please bring the Baggies pants back! Their fabric, toughness, and comfort were amazing.

Terrific fly fishing/wading pants!!!
I have tried many different types of pants for fly fishing through the years, and am SO happy to say that I finally found this terrific pair that worked beautifully for me on my recent trip. They are not hot or restrictive one bit! They dry in very little time! The fit and drape of the fabric is terrific! They give a little, but dont bag out afterw... Read Moreards! The higher rise is great so you can freely bend getting on and off boats without parts showing! The bottom of the pants are slim enough to easily fit into my wading boots without needing to be folded or bunched, so as not to become overly tight for the ankle of the boots or zippers. The pockets are great and the sun protection factor is terrific too! Wow-these are a complete home run in my book! I know Ill be wearing them again. I was in direct sun in the islands for a week, either wading or on the front of a flats boat, fly fishing. I never got sunburned and really was comfortable the entire time! As with many other Patagonia products I find they run slightly large, Im a small person but by no means extra small or tiny. I wear a 2 in most jeans, and have a 26.5 waist that being said the XS fits me perfectly. I love the one piece design of the pants, no button, just slide em on and yours ready to.
