Im a 5 foot 9 guy with average build and find these pants very baggy and a bit long. In the river, the water accumulates the bottom with water making it difficult to walk. Ive tripped a couple of times. Would like these better if they were a bit slimmer, and maybe one more pocket, or a waterproof pocket like in the Swiftcurrent waders.

Not Ideal for FL Weather
Really like these pants and thought they would be good for work. Unfortunately, the fabric is a bit too heavy so not ideal for my use.
I love these pants! I work at a car wash and since the pants are made to get wet, they work perfectly for me at work. Breathable and not too loud when Im running around, also multiple pockets keep my wallet and all my tools in order. Great pair of pants !
I was a bit skeptical, wearing these wading pants instead of my waders on the Big Horn River, recently, but with a forecast of almost 90 degrees F, I followed the guides advice. These pants have a DWR finish that shed splashes and water from wading to shore, like my raincoat! roomy enough for any activity on the water, these pants felt soft as thin... Read More denim. They are also a stretch fabric, so squatting down to pick up towards the middle of the day was easy! No having to pull up the legs so they wouldn't bind at the thighs was a blessing. I ended up using my waders only one day when rain was in the forecast. These pants will be excellent on ocean trips, I can tell!
Nice material and well designed pair of pants for the stream or the bar. sized a little small compared to the other fishing pants (can't remember the name) but they were sold in the past 3 years... but as always you make top flight pants
These pants are so worth the money. In fact they are the best outdoor pants I have ever purchased. I wore them wet wading in Yellowstone and they performed perfectly. The side pocket held a fly box and forceps. The web belt loops allowed me to securely fasten a zinger with my nippers. The fabric seemed to repel water. After hours wading they never ... Read Moreseemed wet. And, the elastic waste made up for me being between sizes. Maybe you'll consider adding S/M for those with a 31" waste.
Totally comfortable and amazing how quickly they dry. Any dirt brushes off and after a day of fishing you are ready to celebrate with a beer and food! Made to last.
Most comfortable pants ever with great design and functionality. Belt loops feel really strong, they're made out of a material similar to a seat belt. The button is attached very well also. I like the addition of a thigh pocket in the design, it only has one velcro point which makes it more secure and also easier and quicker to open and close ... Read Morewith one hand. The "trash" pocket is lined with a slick material that makes removing scraps painless and is also a great place to store a pocket tool. The material of the pant feels exceptionally durable overall. I wore them for the first time to hike and fish on a small stream. The DWR is great and the pants dry fast. They kept me cooler and more comfortable in the heat than the competitor's pants. I love the swiftcurrent waders so I wanted to give these pants a try and I'm glad I did. I got a size large but measure for a medium because I have large legs and don't want to be restricted when moving around in tight spaces. The freedom of movement is great and they aren't too baggy. Definitely a pricy pair of pants but I think the quality is worth it. Patagonia is quickly becoming my favorite brand to shop for purpose driven apparel, especially with this new "NetPlus"fabric. These will be my primary wading and hiking pants for a long time.
