These are one of the best purchases Ive ever made. So comfortable and stretchy. I especially love them for climbing, they're super lightweight and breathable, so I don't get overheated wearing them. Theyre also just super comfortable, so if Im climbing later Ill often just wear them as my pants that day. Would recommend and Ive already go... Read Moretten them in other colors. The only potential downfall is the lack of adjustability in the waist- if they work its awesome, but if proportions are off they might not be as great.
Perfect except for length
I love almost everything about these pants. They are lightweight, have just enough stretch, have pockets. My only hope being 53 is that Patagonia will make these in a short version. The extra length makes them feel warmer so I stopped wearing them earlier in the season than normal. Happy to see that some pants are available in short. Just none like... Read More these.
One More Thing
I wrote a review previously raving about these pants. I thought that I would be able to dress the pants up for travel, but no. Unfortunate "Patagonia" lettering in contrasting color on the back of the leg will hinder that. I don't want to be a billboard, especially outside the US.
Love the purple color and the extremely lightweight, stretchy fabric. I will use these mostly for travel, I can dress this look up a bit for evenings. Based on my measurements (35 waist and 45 hips) and the size chart, size 16 should have fit me perfectly. Intuition led me to order both the 14 and 16, and I am glad I did cuz the 14 was a better per... Read Morefect fit - crotch and thighs not baggy, length still good for my height. Maybe if you are actually using these for rock climbing you want to stay with the recommended size! The only little things I did not like is the lack of zipper and the elastic back waist, but really can't complain, with my measurements most pants are too loose in the waist and these fit just right.
New Favorite Climbing Pants!
These pants are amazing! Stretchy and flattering with a comfortable waistband. I love the elastic at the ankles as well. Great for both indoors and outdoors. The material is very thin, so probably not good for winter climbing. I am 5 ft 7 in and 125-130 lbs and the size 4 fits perfectly.
