Versatile albeit poorly constructed jacket
Jacket is very versatile for a wide temperature range. Unfortunately the stitching is very weak on the jacket and threads constantly become loose. Product does not hold up very well to mild use. Thank you for submitting this review, Charlie. We're sorry to hear the stitching in your jacket isn't holding up as it should! It's true that we eventually had to pass along more of the shipping costs to customers, though we still cover over 50% of those costs and the repair service itself is free. You can save repair shipping costs by taking the jacket to a Patagonia-owned store if there is one in your area. Please let us know if we can assist in any way.

The best, most versatile jacket!
Between my husband and I, we've now got 5 Nano puff jackets -- they are perfect for pretty much anything, from hiking to traveling to work. Safe to say we're obsessed! Everybody needs this jacket
This jacket is so practical. It is perfect for travel, lightweight yet warm enough for 3 seasons, stows easily in a backpack after stuffing into its own pocket (can also work as a pillow on a long flights), works as a mid layer under a rain shell and on and on. Thumbs up on the nano puff!
Light, comfortable and versatile
I found the nano puff jacket very light and warm, actually may be the lightest jacket I have ever worn. It is so light that you don't feel you're wearing a jacket (which is usually bulky). It can easily be used as an underlayer for those extreme conditions. But for the most part, the nano puff will be sufficient to beat the cold days with... Read Moreout being too bulky. Super warm, very packable, kept me dry
I bought this after reviewing a lot of different lightweight and packable jackets. I was going to Europe and wanted a sort of do all type of jacket that most importantly would pack down small. Super-Warm, Comfortable and Lightweight
This is a terrific product. Lightweight and completely flexible, you can roll it up to fit neatly in your backpack or carry-on luggage. The literal best
This is literally one of the greatest jackets ever. It's so warm without being stuffy and has the look to perfectly match any activity. Whether I'm going for a hike up a snow covered mountain or dashing out the door for errands, I know this jacket has me covered. Been using it regularly and have no complaints:)
Great Jacket, runs small
I love this jacket but the size small was a bit tighter than I expected. It fits but it is very tight around the body, Wish I had gotten a medium. I am 5 foot 7, 150 lbs.

Good product if...
We bought this for our son. It fits him well as he is rather on the slim side. However, for normal size people this line of product has terrible sizing. In my case a Large is too small and the X-Large is too big. It doesn't make any sense at all. There is really not need to re-invent the wheel in sizing.

Fantastic Jacket for What It Is
I bought this jacket primarily to use as a backup mid-layer underneath a shell for an extended ski trip (worked great) and plan to use it as an all-around jacket for other purposes. The only critique I have is that the chest pocket is accessed from the inside, making it a little less convenient than having it accessible from the outside.
A great piece for any travel or adventure
I bought my first Nano Puff (a pull-over 1/4 zip) perhaps 8 years ago and use it frequently. After all this time and repeated washings it still looks like the day it was purchased. Hi Martha! Thank you for writing us a review. We're really sorry to hear we're not currently carrying the sizes you seek. Extending sizing is definitely a priority as our brand grows. So far, we have extended the sizing in our Workwear line, Women's Line, and Men’s line, carrying up to Women's size XXL/20-22 and Men's sizing up to 3XL in some items. We are moving in the right direction, albeit slowly, and your feedback is highly valuable toward this goal.
This was a gift for my nephew. He liked it but you jackets really run small. I sent one jacket to my other nephew and he is 6'3/I sent him a large and it fit much better. They are both skinny boys.
Thank you for the feedback, Janet. Our items come in varying fits: form-sitting, slim, regular and relaxed. The Nano Puff Jacket comes in a regular fit, so it should be pretty true to size; we're sorry to hear that wasn't the case. Living in long beach, Ca this jacket has been perfect. Its been cold in the morning and tolerable in the afternoon, so this jacket had been great. It is a tad big, Im 5 9 and 170lbs, I bought a large. I am fairly fit\muscular with long arms. I would not recommend a medium to someone with a similar build. Great product, would buy again.

Light weight and warm
The number one reason I buy Patagonia jackets is FIT. I have long arms and I hate it when buying long sleeves and they feel short on my arms. Patagonia jackets allow me to buy a jacket that fits in the body and sleeve length, this jacket is also light weight, folds up very small in a day pack, and fits the warmth I need when its time to put it on.
Fills the need for a lighter weight jacket
I have several jackets for colder conditions but have been needing something lighter but still reasonably warm for cool but not cold days. Too small around hips and waist
The construction quality is very good (hence a 2 star review and not 1), but the fit is very strange. The waist and hip areas are very tight. Shoulders and sleeve length are good. Seam Ripped after two wears
Ive worn this jacket only twice before I noticed a seam on the front of the jacket started coming apart. I don't wear this Jacket doing any strenuous activity so I am very upset about it already falling apart based on the price.
Hey Tegan, thanks for the review. We're sorry to hear about the issues you've run into with your Nano Puff jacket. Great for the warmer days
I got this for an additional layer for when I ski. When I take the kids to the mountain, I don't move as much and I get colder. This jacket solved that problem. I also love it for around town when it isn't too cold. I can also see tossing this in a pack when heading out on a hike or longer excursion.
Very lightweight and warm
I was very surprised how lightweight this jacket was and very impressed with its warmth to weight ratio. This last purchase was to get the rest of my family their own. I have had mine for 5 years or so and it is still getting daily use and lives in my day pack. Beautiful Jacket But Not Durable in the Field.
I love this jacket and have worn it for years. My only critique is that the shell fabric is so thin that it punctures easily.
