Dear Patagonia community,
The COVID-19 pandemic is taking over communities around the world at an astounding rate. While testing availability in the United States is still limited, and so the extent of the virus’s spread is largely unknown, we want to do our part to protect everyone. The safety of our employees and our communities is our top priority, and we are taking responsible precautions to help stop the spread of this scary virus where we can.
We have temporarily closed our stores, offices and other operations in the United States. We have also closed stores and offices in Argentina, Chile, Japan and across Europe. Our Australia and South Korea operations will continue on a modified work schedule in stores and offices, with some stores closed depending on location. Employees who can work from home will do so. All Patagonia employees will continue to receive their regular pay during these closures.
We are working to find solutions to protect the safety of our warehouse team, and we hope to have an update about online orders in the coming weeks. We apologize that over the next two weeks there will be delays on orders and customer-service requests. We ask for your understanding and patience. We will continue to keep you updated with new developments.
We encourage our friends everywhere to take the extra precautions necessary to safeguard their health and that of others. It’s everyone’s responsibility to help stop the spread of this virus. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and your local health authorities are the best resources for updates and answers to questions.
Over the years, as our Patagonia community has been faced with challenges,I have always been inspired by how we emerge stronger and with an even deeper sense of purpose. We will persevere through this challenge, too.
Thank you for your business, loyalty and patience.

Happy with the Small
Im 5ft 7in 123lbs. the small fits just how I had hoped. Theres enough room to layer underneath, but it still has a fitted look to it. I do wish the sleeves were a bit longer. When I raise my arms out in front of me, they pull back a few inches from my wrists. This happens to me with many coats though.
I love Patagonia products and the look of them. My boyfriend has the same jacket in black. He bought me one also in black and I returned it because I didn't want to match and it was too small. I generally don't love the women's color selections for any brand and looked elsewhere for other colors and similar jackets. Eventually I gave... Read More up and determined that the roamer red color combo in this one would work. The fit is great but I am so disappointed with what happened after only 3 wears. I don't wear much makeup. Just spot foundation and a light mineral powder. The collar is already trashed. It looks greasy, discolored, and honestly awful. It instantly looked like a jacket someone has had for years. My skin is way more dry than oily and I've never seen this happen with any other jacket. I really regret picking this color. It's very disappointing.

Solid Wardrobe Mainstay
I first bought this jacket a couple of years ago before a 21-day winter rafting trip on the Grand Canyon. It was perfect underneath my drysuit. It's a great down alternative - keeping one warm, yet drying fast. I ended up using this jacket for everyday use and in the forest where I work as a botanist. It's held up very well through a few ... Read Morewashes and heavy use. For reference, I'm almost 5'4, 127 lbs. with an hourglass shape. The small fits well. I'm a 4-6 on top and the XS was a bit snug through the shoulders. While pretty streamlined, I can still fit a light hoody or sweater underneath and wear it beneath a shell. Love the piki green color and the fact it's made from recycled materials.
Go to daily driver!
So I've owned the nano puff jacket for a little over a year now and I've put it thru its paces and it always performs perfectly. I am 5'6" 140# and I went with a size S. Being a New Englander, I've stood out in a winter barbecue getting snowed on for 2 straight hours and despite sopping wet shoulders and forearms I was completely warm inside. This jacket always lives up to the task and easily packs into its own pocket, which is great for travel.
A little snug
I usually wear a size M, so that's what I ordered. It definitely fits, but it's a little snug. This isn't a problem for me as I am still able to comfortably wear light sweaters underneath, but for those who want to wear thick sweaters or hoodies underneath, or for those who like looser fitting clothing it might be best to go up a siz... It has kept me warm in temperatures down in the low 40's, but any colder and I would need a thicker coat. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
Inseam coming undone, strings of fabric are coming out.
I have almost had this jacket for a year and parts of it are falling apart. It does keep me very warm, but I am sad to report that strings of the insulation keep coming out. I have pictures to share, but there is no where for me to add them. I would spend your money somewhere else. Very disappointed, I really loved this jacket.

Absolutely love it!
I’ve been looking for a light but warm jacket for ages. After careful consideration, reading lots of different reviews and comparing nano vs. micro puff, I decided to get this one. First and foremost, I live in San Diego so I didn’t need a super heavy duty or warm jacket. Secondly, this jacket was the most economical for my budget. Lastly, this jac... Read Moreket is already designed to allow layering underneath. I got an XXL to allow for a sweater underneath but it turns out I didn’t need to. The XXL was too baggy and bulky. I returned it for a XL and that fits perfectly.
Perfect for every day!
Excellent all around jacket. I ended up ordering the nano puff jacket because I love my vest so much. I have a down sweater too, but am a bit tired of random feathers popping out, so went with the nano puff this time. Very happy...just as warm, and truly versatile. Great for layering too.
not fit right
The medium had lots of extra material/room in the shoulders and the arms are very long. I'd have liked to go down to a small , which fit everywhere but the boobs. The sales lady said it looked like I was wearing a sports bra. I would recommend this jacket if it fits you. My husband has one and loves it.
We live in south Georgia where it doesn't get really cold but will on some winter days. I got one of these for my birthday and just love it! Not too bulky but yet still very warm for those days it does get into the 30's. I purchased this one for my girlfriend and we are both very happy with them.
The Nano Puff Jacket is wonderful for those warmer winter days, 40 degrees and above. I plan to take it to Sedona with me too for those chilly desert mornings next fall. Perfect for lite hiking and (Northern Michigan) winter running. Highly recommend to anyone interested in a lite and no-fuss jacket!
This is my 2nd Nano Puff jacket. Bought it to have another color option to wear. The Nano Puff lightweight jacket is awesome. Just purchased it for my wife as part of her Christmas, and she loves it. I got a Nano Puff jacket for Christmas and I LOVE IT! It is true to size, I am 6' and am fluffy if ya know what I mean. I stay Cold nonstop and I love how comfortable my jacket is. I could definitely dress it up or just wear it casual and it is just SO comfy! I Love it, I love it, I love it! I would definitely recommend this jacket!
Ws Nano Puff Jacket
Well, to say that I luv the Nano Puff Jackets, is an understatement! They are super!! And I just received my fifth one! Shipping is always really fast. Best Jacket ever!
I absolutely love this jacket! It is definably my go-to jacket for skiing, on warm days I wear it as an outer layer, and on cold days I wear it under another jacket and it layers perfectly. It is also great to pack on trips as it folds into basically nothing and weighs very little. I have also used this jacket for hiking and just walking to class.
A basic must have
This jacket is so versatile and an absolute staple for all wardrobes (men and women). Nano Puff continues to be awesome!
I have always wanted a black full-zip nano puff and finally got one! The nano puff does not disappoint. They're so warm for their weight and can't beat the style. I think my medium did run a bit larger than my other nano puff and other medium jackets I own. Love it!
Fantastic all around jacket
This is my second nano - I like them that much. I wear them year-round in Alaska: for camping trips in the summer, as an everyday jacket in fall and spring, and as a layer under a shell in the winter. I prefer the look of the older-style diamond stitch to the newer box stitch, but maybe the newer one wears better?
Exactly what I wanted
I love that the Nano puff jacket is light weight. I purchased to wear as a layering piece under some of my other coats and on its own when not so cold. Its easy to layer and keeps your temperature very warm. I ordered the size S, my usual size in Patagonia and the fit is great with a little extra room for layering under.
I Heart the Nano Puff!
Ya’ll it’s not always cold here in Tx, but we have a few days that see degrees below 40 on occasion, and the Nano Puff plus a lightweight sweater keep me warm whether I’m walking my pup or spending a day out hiking. It’s great on “warmer” days to...anything below 70 degrees down here feels chilly. ;-) I love the color(navy), it’s packability (takin... I've owned a couple of
I've owned a couple of these jackets in my lifetime. I absolutely love them and swear by the Patagonia brand. My favorite thing about this jacket is that it fits my wide shoulders. A lot of women's wear doesn't fit my shoulders. Even though there is not much stretch material in the jacket, it fits amazing.
Perfection in a puff
I purchased the nano puff originally in a M but exchanged for a L because I wanted to layer and enjoy the looser fit (I’m 5’9, 140lbs). Nano Puffs 4 Life!
I love Nano Puffs. I have various iterations of them and they are AWESOME, especially because dog hair doesn't stick to them...this is a great jacket! Well made and very warm
Superb quality and incredible warmth to weight/bulk ratio. I wear it frequently. This was my first time
This was my first time buying from Patagonia; I decided to try the brand because they offer size xxs. Though the fit was nice, I returned the jacket because it was incredibly thin and the collar was creased/stiff (not enough stuffing?)--I just didn't feel like the quality was in line with the price point.
Nothing more then a button down shirt. Very deceptive to call it a ‘jacket’. No use for it at all. Fashion maybe but living in Minnesota there is no time it would be useful as anything more then a shirt- nothing to it.
Hi Colleen, thanks for taking the time to write us a review! We're sorry to hear about the disappointment with the jacket. I love how light it is and I love the fit. I was hoping for it to be a little warmer. Also, the collar is high on my neck, which is fine for when I have it zipped all the way up. But when I fold it down it doesn’t stay and is irritating. Hoping with time the zipper will be more flexible and stay put.
I was so disappointed in this jacket. I returned it the day I received it! It was remarkably smaller than I thought I ordered. Great all-around jacket!
Love this coat -- not bulky at all for such a warm coat. Great for layering, very excited to use for this upcoming ski season. So far it has been great to travel with as it takes up very little space. Fits true to size -- I usually wear a Patagonia S and this provides enough room for a sweater underneath without getting tight.
Love how light and comfortable the jacket is. REALLY wish it was made to fit better in the hip area. I am super happy with this jacket for size, style, and function.
