After of seeing everyone in town wearing this jacket I decided to pick one up, and I am glad I did! This jacket is very warm without restricting movement, and layers well over a fleece. Perfect for running errands or a winter walk with the dogs.
Absolutely love this layer and have loved it for nearly 10 years. I've had the same micro-puffy since around 2015, and while you can tell it's been on many adventures, it is still holding strong! There are a few patches, and a pocket zipper has stopped working, but this jacket still keeps me warm and is still one of my go-to jackets. I us... I'm not a fan of bulky coats, but live in the Midwest and need something that keeps me warm when it's very cold out. This jacket is exactly what I was looking for. It fits really nicely, and is well made. Great value for the price.
Purchased for fall trip to Italy, Perfect for packing. Takes up no space, its weightless, its warm. I thought I would need a large, but the XL was better and allowed for layering.
I try on this jacket every year and it has yet to fit well. I feel like it's made for a man's body. I tried both the medium and small and the medium was way too big with the small just fitting, with big arms, but would never fit with a lay... Read Moreer underneath. Both went back..again
Thanks for the feedback, Deena. We're sorry to hear that finding a good fit in our Nano Puff has been a struggle. We'll share your thoughts with our product design team. In the meantime, we suggest checking out the [Down Sweater](https://www.patagonia.com/product/womens-down-sweater/84684.html?dwvar_84684_color=HERG&cgid=womens-jackets-vests) as a potential alternative.
I love this jacket BUT the stitching comes loose in areas with each wear. Ive never had quilted jackets with this problem. Each time I try to carefully pull the stitching tight within the row. I haven't washed it yet but I hope it washes okay. Not very durable especially for the price. I do love the weight and fit. Disappointed!!
Hi Cathy! Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. We're really sorry to hear about your experience with the stitching. Our Nano Puff Jacket is a bit more delicate, but this sounds like a warranty issue. Please note, your satisfaction is always guaranteed so you're welcome to [return](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html). If you're interested in an alternative we'd suggest our [Women's Down Sweater Jacket](https://www.patagonia.com/product/womens-down-sweater/84684.html?dwvar_84684_color=BLK).

Not too much: Not too little
Perfectly detailed, my nano fits perfectly; like most Patagonia products, it seems to have everything I need and nothing I dont.
Hi. So I bought a Nano Puff and its a great product. Not the point. I come to find that the MICRO Puff is lighter in weight AND has smaller pockets of insulation...I bought the Nano from a store without knowing this...assuming like any logical person would that the opposite would be true. In the international SI units the world is familiar with &qu... Read Moreot;nano" is 1/1000th of "micro" not the inverse. My boyfriend owner of a Micro puff, but not a scientist said "well they'd already used Nano and there's no unit smaller than Nano". But of course there is! Pico! A Picopuff would've 1. been a much more adorable name for a puffer coat 2. would make logical unit sense and 3. You could've made a yellow colored one and Pokemon fans might have gone bonkers for it with no risk of copyright infringement or licensing requirement... because its a scientific unit. You're welcome! (Take the idea, but if you do make a picopuff I'd like a coupon please)
That's my 2 cents. Love the jacket
Also just fyi in terms of fit for those that have read this far: as a "pear" shaped 5'8" female about 150 lbs with standard shoulder width & waist but wide hip circumference of 40+ inches: the length of the torso meant I had to get a size large to have it go over my hips and not ride up, but its a little baggy in the upper chest area. Its fine if I also am wearing more than a t-shirt layer under it though. Hope it helps. I really do love the jacket.
I have 2 Nano Puff Jackets - one is 5-6 years old, the other I bought last year. I love the style and weight, but not the quilted stitching which pulls and in some places comes out. I can't figure out why this happens on these jackets and not my Patagonia Down Sweater, which is probably close to 6 years old. And I'm puzzled why Patagonia ... Add xxxl size option to womens clothing
I have always loved the down sweater and nano by Patagonia. Over the last few years Ive gained a considerable amount of weight due to medication and Covid-related lifestyle. Adore Patagonia
I absolutely adore Patagonia. I love this jacket so much. I highly recommend.
I was so excited for this jacket. I had high expectation for quality for the investment, and was terribly disappointed. Perfect lightweight layer
This is a great lightweight jacket that easily stuffs into small spaces. I wear it all the time
The jacket is very practical in every sense, except for the fact that all the stitching is coming out. In a mater of weeks, a lot of the stitching, especially around the arms are has unraveled.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write this review and we are very sorry to hear about the issues you've encountered with your jacket. We will be reaching out privately to help with a warranty return as this should not be happening to your jacket.

love it love the length and the light warm comfort it provides
I love my new Nano Puff jacket. But when I opened the package, there was a strong smell of sweet, scented detergent. I have washed it once in warm water and the smell is less, but it's still there. I'll wash it again. I thought Patagonia would want to know. Thanks, Barbara

Perfect for transitional seasons for kids school wear
Purchased for each of my kids to wear during spring and fall for school and around. Perfect weight and warmth for those that don't want a jacket, but parents need to keep them warm. Packable and can throw in backpack. Works great.
I own many Women's Patagonia products, all in XL. These Nano Puff jackets were too small in the chest. I was very disappointed! I then tried on a Micro Puff jacket in XL and it fit fine. Not sure if the sizing in the Nano Puff has changed??
Hello Sue, thank you for the review. We're sorry to hear of the confusion with our sizing. We checked and both the Nano Puff and Micro Puff have regular fits, so we're not sure what happened here. Perhaps the different cut is not working for you in that size, our apologies! We'll pass this feedback along to the team. also, the style is so lovely, I often wear it out to dinner or a show, as it is wonderfully classy.
so yes, you guessed it, i'll just keep on keeping on wearing them, and replacing when necessary:)
Of all my Patagonia wear my Nano Puffs are my favorites. Lightweight but oh, so warm. I just purchased the orange for a pop of color over my basics. Love!
I love this jacket! It folds up into nothing so you can pack it and bring it anywhere easily and it's warm but not too warm. This jacket works hard here in Vermont in the transitional seasons (fall and the never-ending spring). The fit is excellent, and it's the perfect layer to protect against wind and light rain.
I love this Nano Puff jacket. It's a key piece in my wardrobe. I wear it when temperatures are from 40 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. It's very comfortable and stylish too. I highly recommend it. Also appreciated the no nonsense packaging. I'm very happy.
Very lightweight yet keeps me completely warm against chilly winds and cold shades of the San Francisco climate and late fall and early spring days of NYC.

Also purchased the vest which I wear for golf on a windy course. The jacket is slim fitted. Am 110lbs. with slender hips and this jacket fits. Would probably size up if questioning what size to purchase.
I bought this jacket in anticipation of a trip to Seqouia National Forest-it is comfortable and fits well.Im sure it will add warmth at higher elevations and is very ortable
This is a perfect light weight fall/spring jacket. Big enough to fit a heavy sweatshirt under but still form fitting and flattering. Very light weight but still warm. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase!
First of all, love the design, the color, and the overall quality. However, the sizing is way too small, especially across the bust. No allowance was made for a womans

Love this jacket. Always have, always will
This is one of the most versatile pieces I have. Packable, warm, light and looks great. I purchased the burnt orange color and I love it. It's perfect.
I have this jacket in another color and it is literally one of my favorite possessions. It was a gift from a friend and I was able to get this new one on sale which makes me so happy!
I bought this jacket for my trip to Paris after I learned that the weather was going to be colder than I thought. I loved having this lightweight, yet warm jacket that was easy to pack & always looked fresh.
Bought this jacket in a medium and is a little small, but is easy to wear and take anywhere, large was too big. Is durable, this is my third nano puff jacket, but they could make it a little looser from the bust. Overall great quality and design.
Light as a feather, this jacket is perfect to pack!
Yet it is very warm with only a tee underneath. The shoulders fit nicely. I have long arms and the fit is great. I would like it to be a bit roomier when zipped. Just a tad too snug, otherwise its a nice piece that I wear a lot.
I live and ski in the mountains. Love bright colors and clothing that fits with good pockets. This is a warm but light jacket that fits well and looks great. I wear it skiing and hiking. I am 5 foot 5. 115lbs. XS fits well so I have 3 (2 with hoods, one without) in different colors in XS.
I live in San Diego and this is the perfect weight jacket for most cool days here. Its comfortable and blocks the wind. High quality and nice fitting style. Its a must have!
The fit is perfect for my long arms and I like the lightweight warmth. I was happy to remove a tough stain by referring to Patagonia's website instruction to use dish soap, it worked!
This puffy is used as my major layer for warmth Its worn in the middle under a ski shell and over top of a base layer. It allows for maximum movement with maximum warmth and insulation.
I've now purchased too many of these to admit (hello children, constantly losing them), but I can't be resentful about such a superior product. While I applaud Patagonia and other companies who are using recycled plastic bottles to create fabrics, I am in transition to liking to wear them. cannot be described as warm
I am mystified that anyone can describe this jacket as "warm" when worn by itself. Layered with something else it's helpful, but on its own is barely more adequate than a fleece jacket.

Killer color and super warm
When I read other reviews, spotted this color, I knew I had to have this jacket. Patagonia brand and made well. Bought on sale which is even better.
I have the older version in black with diamond shaped quilting and I love that one. The newer version is too fitted for a large. I wear a 10/12 and this one was form fitting. Wonderful lightweight jacket!
Exactly what I needed and surprisingly warm for being very light weight. My only feedback is that the tag on the inside of the jacket is very scratchy if it is touching your skin.
I love the jacket, I got the Fresh Teal color, BUT I don't like the different color lining. The lining is a Marine Blue color that you can see if the jacket is unzipped or partially zipped. Very warm, especially considering how non-bulky it is. Easy to clean. My only reason for giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that I believe the stitching could be a little stronger.

Unfortunately the cut of this jacket didn't suit my build. I opted for another Patagonia jacket that is not as fitted and a little more boxy which is much more comfortable for me.
I have not had much chance to wear this jacket yet, but when I did it fit great, and was very wind resistant

Great cozy, good looking, great color. For the retail price, I thought this coat had at least some down fill (my mistake), and I would have preferred that. Still an awesome coat!

Warm and comfortable
I like that it is super soft and flexible. It keeps me warm without weighing me down. It fits the way I like. I am 120 lbs and normally wear a small. It still has room underneath for layering. I can't say anything negative. Just wish the other colors didn't run out so quick!!
The jacket is great quality but the sizing is a little off. I usually can zip up size small in Patagonia jackets but this one would not go over my chest. If you are chesty, I recommend sizing up. Returning.
Thank you for the feedback, Guadalupe. You're welcome to exchange for a size up if you prefer, to begin the process click [here](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html).
Light weight, super warm and great for layering. I bought my first Nano Puff last year and couldn't pass up a second in a great new color. It is my favorite jacket!!
It's a great coat, but too snug at the bottom (since it hits at the widest part of my hips) and the arms are too long. Gave this to my sister who is much taller (but otherwise similar build) and it fit her great. I wish Patagonia made Petite jackets!
Perfect lightweight jacket for casual use when temps are mild. The fit allows for layering & the sleeves are perfect for my long arms. The inside pocket zips and can hold my cell phone. This is my second Patagonia jacket, the other one is down-filled, and it has many more zipper pockets which is a great feature. I would have liked more pockets ... Read Moreon this one too, but that's not a deal breaker.
I love that this is lightweight and soft. It's the perfect warmth for me. I don't have room for a sweater under it (too snug in the hips) or I would've given it five stars.
Pros: Very comfy and cozy, and I wear it ALL THE TIME. The fit is perfect compared to other Patagonia jackets I've owned. Con: I bought the light green jacket, and I love the color, but I've noticed that my natural deodorant and leave-in conditioner discolor the fabric (i.e., it's darker in the armpits and on the collar). The discolo... Read Moreration was a surprise because that hasn't happened to any of my other clothes (Patagonia or non-Patagonia).
I ordered this jacket because the one I have had for 4 years is wearing out. I like the improvements they have made. A stronger zipper and a lining inside the jacket. I use this for work, play and traveling. Very lightweight so easy to pack.
Perfect jacket for mild California Winter. Surprisingly light-weight and easy to pack. The quality is great and really keeps insulation in windy weather.
It purchased in a large. Im 5 foot 3 160 lbs. it is snug around the waist. If you are a little thick in the waist it will feel tight. The color is pretty and the material thin so its more for a mild spring day not for a cold winter in the north. Overall its nice but wish the material was thicker.
Thanks for the review, Adriana. If you'd like something similar but a bit thicker, we recommend checking out the [Women's Down Sweater](https://www.patagonia.com/product/womens-down-sweater/84684.html?dwvar_84684_color=EVMA&cgid=collections-down-sweater-womens).

Light weight, but warm
Light weight and not bulky but warm and easy to layer, comfortable.
I bought one of these about 10 years ago. I wear this coat all winter with a fleece underneath and it's perfect for 30 degrees and up. It has held up very well. I'm ready for a new color, but this one won't die.
The weight of the nano puff jacket works well in Southern California. Down jackets are too warm. Plus the nano puff jacket layers well with the nano puff vest when skiing !
This is my favorite not too cold weather jacket. Incredibly light weight and fold up into chest pocket. As I'm on the shorter side, the sleeves are long and the length is a little long for me, but the waist and other areas fit well.
I wouldnt call it super warm, but it is very comfy! Perfect for sports when I do not want to over heat. Its longer than all my other xs jackets and snug in my hips. I wear a size 0 pants.
I love this jacket. It's super light but also so warm. I was shocked by how well it fit. I had ordered the bivy hooded vest in an XL and it was way too big. But the XL in this jacket is one of the best fittest jackets I have ever had (I'm between a 12-14). No regrets here and I absolutely love it.
Love the jacket - best for a pear shape. The size is roomier in the hips - slim though torso and snug in the chest and shoulder area. I am a 36 DD - athletic build - 34 waist - 39 hip. Not ideal for an apple shape - but this particular nano is doable. I can fully rotate my arms, but there is a little resistance. This is a common problem with Patago... Read Morenia in general - sad face :-(. Wish you guys embraced the female top half more - this jacket would be perfect if you were an A or possibly B chest. I bought this jacket to wear while exercising outdoors in the winter (in milder conditions) but it is so light, cozy, & stylish that I have been wearing it everywhere, whenever temps allow. For a better fit, I got a size M so I could wear over normal street clothes or a light fleece, and it keeps me warm when it is about 40degF or warmer. (Any ... Read Morecolder and I would recommend wearing another layer like a shell over it.) Also, the colour is so vibrant (Cloudberry Orange) and I have gotten many compliments. I do wish that I had opted for the hooded version (and I might do just that if brighter colour options are offered). Overall, I recommend 100%!

Warm and light
My only comment would be the trim color should match jacket color better
I love this jacket's warmth and practicality. It's super easy to roll up and put in a bag and is very warm. The one adjustment I would make is to have zip vents at the hips to adjust the size there. I bought a larger size than I needed because it felt too tight over the hips when zipped up the front and I wanted flexibility while moving. ... Read MoreBy putting a side zip option at the hips, I could have bought the jacket that fit me better otherwise.
This is my 3rd Patagonia nano puff jacket and once again I am not disappointed. Super comfortable and lightweight while providing enough warmth for lower temps. My go to jacket!
Being a puffer, I thought this would be super warm but also packable for winter hikes and travel. Its definitely not a winter coat unless you have a lot of layers underneath. It is great for temps between 45-60 so a good spring/fall coat. The fit was very true to size.
I already own this jacket In size medium and love it. Ive had it for several years. I decided to get size large when getting a new one so I could use it over bulkier under layers when desired. Works great. I also noticed the opening to the pockets seems to be a little larger. Nice change. Easier to access. Love my nano jackets!
I love my nano puff and wear it constantly, but needed a new non-blue color due to travel where tsetse flys are attracted to blue colors. This newer version has tighter arms, and felt more constricting, with a weird slightly sticky feeling on the forearms. I opted for another jacket, but Id never say anything truly negative about the nano puff!
