Dog Walking Comfort
Purchased this Puff for my mom. She lives middle of the east coast of Florida and walks her dog early in the morning. Some mornings are below 65 and that's cold to us in the Sunshine State. Sleeves are long enough for apes
I love the weight and feel of this jacket, and if it fit me better I could easily imagine it becoming a personal favorite. Perfect Spring in New England Jacket!
I love this jacket! I was looking for something that would be warm enough for the cool spring in New England (Late March/April months) and this is perfect. I layer with a thicker shirt underneath and its great for walking my dogs! I love the pockets, the color and the hood is great for windy days. I love that its water resistant. Love this jacket!
So far so good...
I am here to help the fellow tall women, like myself, figure out what size jacket to purchase. Like many others, I have struggled to find the right size for clothing and usually end up returning the wrong size at least once. So here I am to try and help! I really liked it, it wasn't too snug around my armpits, the arm length and torso length was excellent, I was impressed, even with a light hoody underneath it was good. HOWEVER I am a cold person all the time so I wear more layers than just a 'light hoody' on the reg, SO I returned the XS and opted for a S. I am happy with my choice, it has room available for another layer or so, it is still flattering in the fit, and doesn't feel frumpy. Now to discuss the warmth and effectiveness of the jacket, only time will tell. It is rather thin, like significantly so when compared to any other puffy jacket I own, but I trust the fill power...

What is up with the fit?
I have an old version of this, about 15 years old, and it fits so well. The zipper blew out so I decided I'd try it again, same size, same jacket. Not so much. Great All Around Jacket
This is my second nano puff - I wanted one with a hood. I wear this jacket 3 seasons in New England. It is a perfect all purpose jacket. Lightweight, but warm, and layers well either over sweaters or under ski jackets and shells. I was torn between a Medium and Large, but ultimately went with large for more layering flexibility. HIGHLY recommend!!

It took me over 2 months to finally find this - must have been a winter-return, because this jacket, like ALL the XXLs in women's wear, sold out almost immediately. I am 55 and 125 pounds. I would have given this a 5 star, but for the sizing. I would call my body type straight and narrow. I am in love with this jacket! I put it on for the early morning chill and when I head outside to walk, hike, play. I have been wearing it daily. I like the zip pockets, the hood, the way the zipper comes up high enough to keep my neck warm and the lightness. It is warm without being restrictive or bulky.

I honestly cant find a single fault with this jacket. It fits perfectly by itself with just a light shirt underneath, or with a heavier base layer and a raincoat . I'm so disappointed with this jacket. I bought the first one before I walked the Camino in January and I wanted a warm but also lightweight and packable jacket. It worked great! Its warm enough to have on as an out later, as my got to jacket for work and for even a little chillier weather zip up and hoody on does the trick. Frustrating features limit my love for Nano Puff Hoody
My husband I splurged and each bought a Nano Puff Hoody mostly because it would stay warm even when wet. While I love the weight-to-warmth ratio and the awesome packability, the exterior fabric has rip/abrasion quality a little like wet toilet paper. Patagonia was good enough to send us patches (black) and I had to buy clear repair tape because the... Read Morere are too many repairs! We're super careful with our gear but we each have tears in multiple places and we don't even know how they happened. I wouldn't even consider climbing with it. Even though I ordered XS (there was no XXS when I bought it), the jacket falls below my hips and over my booty. I think Patagonia needs to rethink this one.
Patagonia still hasn't figured out that women have hips
I love this jacket, and it fits great everywhere except my hips where is just BARELY fits. I've found this to be true with many Patagonia products. I don't know if they're using someone with a tiny boyish figure and just sizing up or what, but I'd love to see a couple extra inches in the hips of Patagonia jackets! Some fit fine ... Most versatile, year round
This is the best, most versatile jacket ever... I bought one years ago and it is still going strong! I just wanted a new color. Great for mildly cool days, drizzle, surprise rain, snow, freezing temps. Never too hot and rarely not warm enough for any type of weather. I just wish it were offered in petite as the cut is more for a long waisted person... Read More.
I bought this jacket for a hike to Mt. WHITNEY (the tallest mountain in the 48 continental USA) I cant stand cold weather, everyone was complaining about how cold it was except ME. They were all wearing other brands. The hood is perfect! It cover your ears and part of your face. Best purchase ever.
I loved it but..
Everything about the jacket is perfect except the fit through the arms. The armhole opening is too small so it binds when I move. I am 5 foot 4 and 95lbs. warm but disappoining
I was super excited to wear this jacket for everyday use. However after barely a month of moderate use the seems started to come apart and the thread is dangling out all over the place. The stuffing is now shifting around because the seems have not held. I was hoping it would last much longer like the micro puff and down jackets, but this was a maj... Read Moreor let down.

The Perfect One!
This is my third nano puff jacket andI finally got the perfect fit! I still wear the others but this will be the one I reach for most often! These jackets are just the right amount of puff, keeping me not too hot and not too cold. My old ones have been in almost every state and I'm looking forward to many adventures in the new one!
Functional and stylish
My first Primaloft jacket and first Patagonia product. The warmth to weight ratio is surprising at first. Very light very warm. Thank you, THANK YOU for making this magnificent jacket in size XXS!!!! I just wish I could find this size in stores. I'm happy to have discovered it on your website, though. VERY lucky to pick this up on sale. Color not too bright. Pocket fits Pixel XL. Dithered between this and Micropuff, because I LOVE the Micro I have. I love Patagonia and I get all my jackets pretty much from here...I usually get a small (I'm a little over 5' 6" and between 115-120 pounds) and this definitely runs large! I like to bundle up and wear a hoodies or layers, so I think I will keep it, but I think the XS would have fit better.
I was so excited to purchase this puffer! Love the bright teal color and comfort/ warmth for So Cal winter. Fit, style, warmth for weight great. Not super breathable but didn't expect it to be. I understand the trade off for weight but a piece of gear shouldn't be quite this fragile. I owned a nano puff vest from Patagonia a number of years back that I wore for everything and it didn't have this problem, lasted a long time. I've worn mine about 5 months now and it's got so many tiny pulls I can't really wear it anymore. If the fabric were just a little tougher would give it 5 stars. (And for those hoping to find the right fit I am 5'5" 135 lbs and the small is perfect).
Hi Jen, thanks so much for taking the time to write us a review! We're really sorry to hear about the disappointment with the durability of the Nano Puff Hoody. Nano puffs have changed
I’ve loved my nano puff for maybe 8 years. Then I lost it. I’m not happy with the new design, too form fitting. I’m between a small and a medium for comfort but the sleeves are huge. Hope they receive this input and go back to a more boxy fit. It kinda kills the comfort and perfect weight of a nano puff coat to have it so snug.
Hi, thanks for your review! It is definitely disappointing not finding the new fits/designs as favorable as the previous ones. Your feedback has been passed along to the appropriate team. Don't hesitate to [return](https://www.patagonia.com/returns.html) it if you were looking to do so and haven't already.

This is my second coat of this style. I love the color of the classic navy. This coat washes well and deceptively warm for the weight and thickness. I appreciate Patagonia quickly exchanging when my first order came in with a defective cut (unusual for Patagonia). XS in this coat fits me at 5'3.5" and slender frame.
Very thin. Looked cheap. Returned.
