We’re Taking Orders Again
One month ago, we closed our retail stores and distribution centers for the health and safety of our employees and customers. After much consultation and a lot of hard work, we’re pleased to announce patagonia.com is back in business.
Thanks for Your Patience
As we adjust to our new safety procedures, order processing may take up to 5 days for ground. All orders include free ground shipping. We encourage you to view your order status page and sign up for text updates as there may be unexpected delays. Learn more
Keeping Things in Perspective
Selling clothing isn’t an essential service. We all know this. More than anything, we are humbled by and extremely grateful for the health care professionals, public servants, farmers, grocery store workers, delivery folks and many others who are working their hardest right now. Thank you.
Retail Stores, Repairs and Dealers
We’re excited to get back to work, but our values haven’t changed. As always, we encourage you to buy only what you need, buy local when possible and repair what you already own. Our retail stores and repair services remain closed for now, but we have DIY repair guides available online and Patagonia dealers in your area.
Responsibly Sourced, Shelf-Stable, Nutritious Food
Our food business is also open with an expanded marketplace of products from like-minded farmers, ranchers, fishers, artisans and brands. We invite you to visit Patagonia Provisions and get responsibly sourced, shelf-stable, nutritious foods delivered right to your door.
We appreciate the words of encouragement and support you’ve shared with us. Stay safe, be kind to one another and thanks for stopping by.Shipping and Safety Details
Great wetsuit, but...
So, first, this wetsuit is for my wife. I bought it for her as a gift (and have the account), I am writing the review along with her. We bought this wetsuit because other brands were creating a rash. After some research and discussions, Patagonia was the clear choice, especially as they have an expanded womens line (unlike many other wetsuit mfrs; ... Read Moreyeah, Patagonia!). The suit arrived, it fits great, feels great, and performs well; meaning it is providing warmth and movement in northern CA (although the water is not as cold as normal); however the suit is starting to peel at the seam tape in many places. I sent Patagonia some pictures and they are willing to fix it, but we have to send it back, and it is unclear how long it will take. I am not sure if this is a common problem, but why should we go without a wetsuit because of a defect? I love Patagonia for their products all they stand for, but there has to be a better way to resolve this and I am open to work with them.
Hi there, thank you for taking the time to write us a review! We're really sorry to hear about the way the suit has started to peal at the seams. We'd be happy to work with you to provide the best possible solution, we've reach out to you directly with further assistance.
Super Warm, Not for OW Swims
This wetsuit kept me warm and dry during a 3000 OW swim in 55 degree water. However, the chafing around my neck is horrendous. I am allergic to neoprene so I was super excited to try this suit to swim in colder open water in the Pacific NW. Clearly NOT made for swimming though. Wish there was a Patagonia suit made for OW swimmers.
I am 5.9 and 130lbs. My measurements are: Bust 38, Waist 27, Hips 34, Rump 36.5. My height and weight put me in a size 12, but I was ordering another wetsuit in a size 10 so I sized down. I called Patagonia to talk about sizing with them and the man on the phone said the size chart is accurate. The 10 came in and it was too big. (Difficult to get o... Read Moren, but once in there were wrinkles in the stomach.) I exchanged the suit for a size 8 after speaking to someone else about sizing. The 8 was really difficult to get on, but looked like the correct size in my living room. I took it out in the water and it expanded significantly! The ankles and wrists are very tight so water wasn’t coming in and out, but the core was so loose, not what you want in a wetsuit. Additionally, this wetsuit is probably a better fit if you have a longer torso too and I am consistently a 7/8 Aqua Lung wetsuit.
This wetsuit is super well constructed, and surprisingly warm - I have yet to be cold in this suit even in the 48 degree water of Northern CA. I usually wear a size 8-10, I purchased the 10 and it was definitely snug, although it does stretch out a bit with a handful of uses. I would say size up a bit, or try them on first if you can. The material ... Read Moreisn't *quite* as stretchy as neoprene, but it is very well fitting, and doesn't allow any water to flush up the sleeves or ankles. I bought the back zip because I was tired of the front zip struggle, and I do really like it! The back zipper stays up fairly well while surfing, I occasionally have to yank it up a couple inches but it's not a big deal. I love the idea of the neck gasket, although I had to stretch it out quite a bit for it to be comfortable, again probably my fault for choosing an on-the-fence too small suit. Overall a really nice suit that I hope to keep wearing for years.
Sustainable, warm, worth the investment (so far)
This is my favorite wetsuit to date. I'm 5'6" 140 lbs and wear a size 4 dress and 6 pant. I have naturally broad shoulders and am active always running and surfing. I found the size 8 to be pretty suffocating and far too tight around my upper back and shoulders. The size 10 is a really good fit. Like all new wetsuits, it feels impo... Read Moressibly tight at first but I’m able to shimmy out within 1-2 minutes. I like the softness and pliability of the material. One of my favorite features is the internal gasket. I dislike a front-zipping wetsuit because I find dragging material over my head to be uncomfortable but the internal gasket is soft and thin-like. I also like the kneepads a lot and the fact that this is one of the most sustainable wetsuits on the market.
