The wetsuit is simply awesome. Feels soft and stretchy. Fits perfectly. Functions perfectly. I was worried it would be a pain to get into. Its not. Once you get into it the first time it softens up and gets easier. I never once think about the wetsuit while surfing.
First time out in 65° water and air. It was plenty warm. Sure I could wear it down to 60°. Only issue I have is the seam at the back of the neck rubbing.
I wrote a prior review in august. Its now December and Ive had a chance to fully evaluate. Terrific wetsuit and worth every penny. Ive owned the R1 top in medium love it and was delighted to find this in stock. Im 59, 157lbs and this was plenty large in a size small. I surf 3x a week-my gear is super important to me and Patagonia makes the best.
First Patagonia wet suit and it is awesome. Super stretchy with very little bunching. The fact that it is environmentally friendly was a big factor in me buying this wet suit for SoCal surfing.
