Just what I needed

Being in the northeast, I'm constantly on the lookout for warm gear, but traditional surf booties tend to not fit my fins very well. These were the perfect marriage of warmth and flexibility for me. It took 3 tried to get the sizing right, the chart is WAY off. I'm a men's 7 shoe / women's 8.5 and ended up with Larges. I miss no... Read Moret having a heel loop to help get them on/off in winter with numb fingers, and have noted the potential lack of durability over time, but so far after 2 season they're my go-to in the cold weather.

Comfy/Warm

Very warm & comfy as all Patagonia surf products. Little light on the durability on the bottom of the boot.

Way too small

Bought a large but it does not even get close to aligning the heel. The worst part is that the inseam that separates the toes digs really hard into the base of the area between big toe and second.

Comfortable but fragile

Very comfortable boots but very fragile to walk with. Be careful on surf spots with rocks underneath.

Great boot, only lasted a dozen sessions

I bought this boot in 2017 and hopefully this issue has been fixed, but maybe not... This is an incredibly comfortable, warm, flexible boot, but you basically can't walk on anything other than sand or grass or the bottom rips open after several sessions. If you need to run through a parking lot to get in your car to warm up and get out of your... Read More booties, then the pavement will shred them. I got maybe a dozen session out of these before several holes ripped in each foot. Looking at the website now, it seems that more support might have been placed in the heal and toe/ball of the foot area. These also shredded in the middle of the foot on mine.
