The Boys’ Down Sweater is warm, compressible and layers easily for extra warmth in colder conditions. Insulated with Traceable Down (600-fill-power duck down traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure the birds that supply it are not force-fed or live-plucked).

As the sunset soul sesh morphs into an autumn eve beach bonfire that morphs into a long night under clear stars, this ridiculously comfy boys’ jacket is down. Its highly compressible, 600-fill-power Traceable Down (which can be traced from parent farm to apparel factory to help ensure the ducks that supply it are not force-fed or live-plucked) maintains core warmth throughout the season. The polyester mini-ripstop shell fabric, treated with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish, is tough and durable; lined with a polyester plain-weave fabric. With two zippered pockets and reflective webbing pulls, a full-zip front that extends up to the collar for warmth and a drawcord hem to adjust the fit. Hand-me-down ID label.

Traceable Down Insulation

Patagonia Traceable Down provides the highest assurance of animal welfare in the apparel industry. Every down cluster, in every one of our down products, comes exclusively from birds that were never force-fed and never live-plucked. How do we know? We hired an independent third-party expert to trace and verify our down supply chain from farm to jacket–and every step in between. Learn more
