World Curlew Day

Join the Irish Peatland Conservation Council as they celebrate this iconic peatland bird. With fewer than 150 breeding pairs of Curlew remaining in Ireland, take this opportunity to learn about this wonderful species, enjoy nature activities, a walk to Lodge Bog where you will listen for the ‘cry of the curlew’ and explore the variety of conservation initiatives IPCC are undertaking as they work for the survival of this peatland species.
