Supporters can donate to organizations located in the United States from your Action Works profile
Patagonia is working with For Good(formerly Network for Good) a nonprofit that specializes in facilitating donations from the public to nonprofits by operating as a donor-advised fund.
In order to ensure your organization receives 100% of the intended donation, Patagonia covers the processing fees on behalf of the donor.
For Good processes the donation, sends an email confirmation and tax receipt to the donor, and disburses the funds to your organization. For Good will automatically send your monthly donations via check or direct deposit if enrolled, as long as your organization is in good standing with relevant state and federal authorities.

Disbursements occur on 15th of the month after when a donation was made. For example, your donations from December 1st to December 31st will be disbursed by check or direct deposit on the 15th of January. If the 15th falls on a weekend or holiday disbursement will occur on the next business day.
For Good relies on the address listed in Candid for check disbursements. If you need to update your address on Candid, click here.
If you have a fiscal sponsor, the disbursement will go to the EIN holder on file for your organization, but the funds will be designated to your organization. Learn more about how donations work for fiscal sponsors here.
Donation transactions of up to $10,000 made by credit card or debit card can be processed through For Good’s payment modal.
Donors can choose to share their information with your organization, or elect to donate anonymously. In order to receive donor data, you will need to set up afree account with For Good.
