Weatherproof

2.5-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics are completely waterproof, windproof, breathable and highly packable for backpacking, alpine climbing and backcountry skiing. They combine a water-repellent shell fabric with a waterproof/breathable membrane and a protective top coat barrier without needing a protective lining fabric. A raised print layer is applied to decreased layering friction and increase moisture management.

2.5-layer H2No® Performance Standard shell fabrics are coated with DWR (durable water repellent) fabric finish that repels light rain and snow. In conjunction with a waterproof/breathable barrier, the DWR finish keeps the outer fabric from becoming saturated so that the breathable barrier can do its job.

All products bearing the H2No mark have been vigorously tested for durability in our 24 Killer Wash.

Baby Torrentshell One-Piece is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 3.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from A tad large Bought this after researching the internet, and this appeared to be the best and most durable rain/wind suit out there. Selected size 6-12mos based off my little ones height and weight (little one about 17lb, 26"). Quality of material and construction seems durable. It has held up well to puddles, drizzly and windy days, and crawling/walking/falling down, keeping my little one from getting wet and probably cold as well. As stated in the description, this suit is definitely generous in length. Be aware that if your child is on the smaller end of the sizing accomodation, that s/he will have plenty of room to grow into the suit. With my little one, I had to roll the sleeves up twice. The body of the suit comes down to the knees, leaving the look of short legs and a massive torso (a similar look to Calvin in "Calvin and Hobbes"). The leg openings do a great job from keeping the suit from riding up the legs. Overall, I would purchase this again, but if I wanted a more fitted design, I would have sized down to the 3-6 mos.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from He likes it Layers well over whatever else he is wearing. Easy to get on and off. Keeps him dry. Cuffs and elastic at the wrists and ankles work well and allow easy folding to expose or cover hands as needed.
