When it comes to winter storms, we love a good free-for-all. That’s why we designed the motion-friendly Snowshots. They complement hit-or-miss weather with waterproof/breathable protection to keep you ripping from first chair to last call. The H2No® Performance Standard 2-layer, 100% polyester shell has a waterproof/breathable barrier for storm protection and a DWR (durable water repellent) finish to prevent wet snow from saturating the fabric (and dismiss spilled beer). Waist details include a soft, brushed tricot lining for comfort and an internal adjustment for a customized fit. Inside, a slick 100% polyester tricot mesh liner glides easily over your baselayers and wicks moisture to keep you dry. Mesh-lined thigh vents let you release excess heat, and gaiters, with tough scuff guards for edge protection, seal out snow when you’re postholing. With an updated technical silhouette, two midthigh cargo pockets and an embedded RECCO® avalanche rescue reflector. Inseam (size M) is 32½".
  • Durable H2No® Performance Standard 2-layer polyester micro-twill weave with waterproof/breathable protection; slick mesh lining keeps you warm and wicks away moisture
  • Waist details: brushed tricot lining wicks moisture; adjustable elastic tabs customize fit; two-button closure, belt loops and zip fly
  • Webbing loop on rear yoke securely attaches pants to powder skirt on any Patagonia® Snow jacket
  • Gaiters seal out snow; tough scuff guards protect inside of leg and bottom hem
  • Mesh-lined vents at inner thigh dump heat and keep out snow
  • Zippered pockets: two mid-thigh cargo pockets
  • Concealed RECCO® reflector
  • H2No® Performance Standard shell: 2-layer, 5-oz 75-denier 100% polyester (54% recycled) micro-twill with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish. Leg lining and vents: 2.5-oz 100% polyester tricot mesh. Waistband lining: 3.8-oz 100% polyester brushed tricot. Gaiters: 3.2-oz 100% polyester plain weave with a DWR finish. Men's Snowshot Pants - Regular is rated 3.6 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good value for Spring Comfortable but the "flexible" waist fit with Velcro allows the waist to creep. I had to resort to a belt to avoid sagging on my waist.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing fit They are great! Not too warm, not too hot. Just what I was looking for

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snowshot pants Worn them for 3 days skiing. Comfortable. Keep me dry and warm (with underlayer). Love the adjustable waistband. Would like a larger "drop" and a rear pocket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sizes all over the map I ended up with a medI'm after returning a large. I wear large in everything I've ever owned. Past patagonia pants have been large. When ingot these they were like a 42" waist with a 40" inseam. Off the charts.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Review in progress This is a replacement pair of these pants. The first pair was a Christmas present and lasted about three weeks when the stitching in the crotch ripped out. The pair I have now is a replacement pair and have not had enough time to test it yet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from I'm looking for something else I bought these in November and have roughly 40 days on them, mostly touring. I was between Small and Medium (30" waist) and got the medium. Small would likely have fit better, but I've been using them anyway. Things these pants are: Relatively cheap Very baggy Things they are not: Waterproof Durable These pants tend to wet out in anything but cold blower. I've got several small cuts in them on the legs and even through the reinforced cuff. The fit makes me feel foolish. Medium waist feels more like a 33 than a 31. I have to cinch down the velcro and wear a belt, giving a nice baggy bubble-butt appearance. Legs are huge, and look even more so with the vents open. The cuffs and gaiters are good, though - they fit over the open cuff of my touring boots. The metal hook on the gaiters is annoying but I could see it being useful for somebody that doesn't filddle with their boots as much. The two pockets are big and carry things well, but I wish there were more of them. The vents work pretty well, but more would be better. These are all just details, though. If these pants kept water out and held up to daily skiing, I'd be fine. They don't, however, so I'll be looking elsewhere. I'm not sure who Patagonia's snow line is designed for, but I'm beginning to think these pieces aren't for the day-in-day-out local skier who needs his gear to last AT LEAST a full season.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Snow Pants and Price I am a curvy woman and the women's ski pants don't fit me. I bought these and they are great. Super waterproof, I wear capilene and fleece underneath and I'm never too hot with the leg vents open. So comfortable. Pretty long for the regular length. I have to be careful not to walk on them when I get out of my snowboard boots and into my shoes. Fits over snowboard boots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Must have been Monday on the DWR Line... Should have known I was in trouble when I knelt down at the bottom of the lift and the knee fabric wetted out. Fresh out of the package, thighs and knees completely wetted out in mid-30's snow/drizzle conditions. Only light beading I reallysaw was on the bottom cuff reinforcements; everything else was a sponge. Outperformed in same conditions by a 10 year old Rubicon shell. Good fit, towards the lighter side of construction in material and seams. Elastic in one internal gaiter let loose over a four day outing.
