Guitar picking and a sunset stroll to ancient granaries—the Barely Bra provides breathable, all-day comfort on a Nankoweap layover day. The slender, nonslip straps won’t dig into your skin, and instead meet at a flattering racerback. An underbust panel offers support for B/C cups. Feminine details like the center gather for shaping and a double fabric front for modesty are nice extra touches. Made of a soft, featherweight, quick-drying 91% polyester (75% recycled)/9% spandex fabric blend with a contemporary geometric jacquard engineered into the fabric to wick moisture. Internal cup pocket allows for pads/inserts (cups included). Pairs with our Barely Bikini, Hipster or Thong underwear.

Recycled Polyester

In 1993, we adopted fleece into our product line made from post consumer recycled (PCR) plastic soda bottles. We were the first outdoor clothing manufacturer to do so. PCR® clothing was a positive step towards a more sustainable system – one that uses fewer resources, discards less and better protects people’s health.

Today, we’re able to utilize more sources for recycled polyester and offer it on more garments such as Capilene® baselayers, shell jackets, board shorts, and fleece. We now recycle used soda bottles, unusable manufacturing waste, and worn out garments (including our own) into polyester fibers to produce many of our clothes.

Using recycled polyester lessens our dependence on petroleum as a raw material source, curbs discards and reduces toxic emissions from incinerators.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally! I've tried bra after bra for comfy casual support/yoga that doesn't create a "smooshed unaboob". I was skeptical so I wore it all day with the tags attached bc I just knew that I may have to return it like every other bra I try :/ I was so happy when I cut the tags off! It's a keeper & will be ordering more! I'm 34D & the large fits great. Thank you Patagonia for this bra & for standing up for what's right! :) <3

Rated 5 out of 5 by from best bra ever i have one of these in every color. i am 5'6'' 130 lbs. the size small is perfect on me, and i remove the little pad things. i have a smaller chest so i dont need a lot of support. these bras are amazing i wear them every day for everything. i dont know what i will do when patagonia stops making them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from More Please! All I can really say was when the salesperson asked me if I wanted a bra that was for casual wear or a sports bra I answered, "Can't they just be more the same thing?" Then she showed me this bra. The store only had dark colors, so I need to get some light ones. But yep, this is all I really ever want to wear ever again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Getting to be the most comfortable yet! As a short-waisted woman, bras ride up on me. Patag elastic is more forgiving in that it is circular in the weave, so there’s no piece of elastic digging into my torso. The details on the sides are built into the weave, but work as darts giving me a push-up feel and a cleavage—in pilates class. Have to wear this out!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from True to namesake I was starting to wear sports bras instead of regular bras. This bra is extremely comfortable and flattering. I will probably never wear a regular bra again. Great for everyday or camping/hiking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from MY FAVORITE EVER I hope Patagonia never changes a thing on this bra. Comfortable, subtle shaping that adds just enough. The racer back is so comfortable and rides where it should. I just ordered a second one and wish there were more colors offered.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not sized properly. I bought 2 Active Mesh Bras from a retail store a few months ago and LOVED them. I used the Patagonia size chart and the fit of the Active Mesh Bras I already owned to order this Barely Bra. It was so small that I was afraid I was going to have to call my neighbor to help me get out of it! Certainly not sized according to the size chart or the Active Mesh Bras--a style that has changed since I bought the first 2, but that's another story. I think I am through buying online from Patagonia.
