This is our go-anywhere, do-all crew for road trips, early-morning trail runs and spontaneous celebrations after dark. A heavyweight of versatility, our Merino Midweight is a wonderfully soft jersey knit suited to a wide variety of activities across a wide range of conditions. Merino wool is naturally breathable, regulates body temperature and stretches. It's also wonderfully soft and naturally resists odor. Ours is sourced from the grasslands of Patagonia. We slow-wash it for softness and shrink resistance, without the use of chlorine, then blend it with 20% Capilene® recycled polyester for durability and for dry times and moisture transfer superior to that of 100% merino. Features include a self-fabric collar with internal neck tape for chafe-free comfort, full underarm gussets for unhindered shoulder mobility, elastic thumb loops for secure hand coverage, low-bulk merrow seams to minimize chafing, offset shoulder and side seams to lie smoothly beneath pack straps, and a drop tail for additional coverage. Machine wash cold; machine dry at low temperatures.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice as a thin t-shirt Nice fit, good-looking t-shirt as well as base layer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Cadillac of base-layers This shirt is lightweight and very warm. I have a collection of Cuddl-Duds which are that weird synthetic that feels clammy on your skin and doesn't breathe .... so I treated myself to this one when it went on sale. The difference is night and day. I'd say it's true to size but it is cut a little slimmer for layering. I'm 5'8, 140, 34B and I bought size medium because I didn't want it to be too tight - if for some reason I'd wear it alone. (which I feel like you could if you wanted to) I know I will get tons of wear out of this awesome shirt

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and light I've had this shirt for a month and I wear it all the time. It's a warm base layer and the wool is even comfortable against skin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! Received one as a gift and I purchased a second one. Fits well, isn't itchy, washes and dries perfectly. Looking to be able to wear them all year round so I'm looking forward to testing that. Purchased larger size because I don't like tight arms or shoulders. The M or L would have also fit. Perfect for travel.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I bought this a base layer for a winter trip. It's lightweight, warm, and best of all, casual for city attire. It is nice enough to wear indoors when you want to remove your sweater. I wore this shirt for 3 days straight without any odor issues. I do appreciate the thumb holes/straps when putting on a sweater and the ability to tuck them in afterwards since they look a bit silly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Warm but itchy This is a little too itchy for me but I wear it over a thin shirt for warmth. My other merino wool I wear directly toughing my skin and it's not too itchy. I understand Patagonia is looking for a new merino wool provider so their new products might be less itchy. I bought a large which fits snug and I weigh 140 lbs and am 5'7" tall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Essential piece! Warm, good fit, not bulky. I wear it under everything. I bought xxs and was worried it might be too small but was fine except the elastic piece on sleeve is too short, but as I wear for everyday, I wouldn't use it anyway.. I'm 5'4" and wear a 0.
