General Summary:

Responsible for efficiently and proactively executing the Corporate Sales business plan by assisting the sales team in maintaining customer databases, making sure orders are shipping in a timely and accurate manner, and providing world-class customer sales and service. The seasonal customer service rep will also work with the wholesale account base, and with the sales reps when needed. Seasonal position expected to be Sept 2014-Jan 2015.

Essential Job Functions:

• Work with specified goals to help meet and exceed our daily, monthly and annual sales and marketing goals.

• Communicate in a professional manner with customers and prospects through phone, e-mail and fax.

• Work with clients to determine inventory, availability, and enter orders.

* Help with ASAP and preseason order maintenance, in addition to employee purchase orders.

* Assist customers with the online B2B ordering tool

• Data entry of new prospects.

• Attend all relevant Department and Company meetings and functions.

• Process sample returns from Corporate Sales customers.

* Work with the corporate sales customer service team to ensure orders are going in the system accurately and efficiently.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods.

• Ability to complete computer work for extended periods of time.

• Computer keyboard functions and operations.

Minimum Job Qualifications:

• Patagonia product knowledge required

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

* Strong analytical skills

• Have ease with outbound sales calls and relationship building

• Should be active in core Patagonia activities such as skiing, kayaking, biking, fly-fishing, surfing, running, climbing, mountaineering, sailing, etc.

• Good knowledge of MS Word and MS Excel. Knowledge of other Microsoft database systems preferred

* Strong typing and ten key skills

* Ability to have professional correspondence (email and phone) with outside corporations

• Friendly and tolerant.

• Be self-motivated.
