Visitors to Patagonia stores cast their ballots in our second-annual Voice Your Choice™ campaign. Together, they helped us decide how to distribute $5,000 in grant money to local environmental organizations.

Creating the Future Patagonia National Park
Conservacion Patagonica, a non-profit organization dedicated to protection of wildland ecosystems and biodiversity in the Patagonia region of Chile and Argentina, is working towards the goal of creating Patagonia National Park, a world-class park similar in size to Yosemite National Park in California.

Environmental Grants
We give at the grassroots level to innovative groups overlooked or rejected by other corporate donors. We fund activists who take radical and strategic steps to protect habitat, wilderness and biodiversity. We have given more than $35 million to more than 1,000 organizations since our grants program began.

The Conservation Alliance
Patagonia co-founded The Conservation Alliance in 1989, with the goal of encouraging companies in the outdoor industry to support environmental organizations in their efforts to protect threatened wildlands. To date the groups funded have saved over 34 million acres of wildlands and 14 dams have been either prevented or removed - all through grassroots community efforts. Learn more
1% For The Planet®
In the same vein as The Conservation Alliance, 1% For The Planet provides the motivation for any business – large or small – to donate at least 1% of their annual net revenues to environmental organizations worldwide. To date, members include restaurants, musicians, wineries, graphic design and advertising firms, to name just a few.

Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival
The Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival is a product of environmental grant recipients, the South Yuba River Citizens League. Together with Patagonia, SYRCL uses the Wild & Scenic festival to bring compelling environmental films to a nationwide audience with the shared goal of inspiring environmental solutions in their home watershed and in host communities.
